Just really high quality, while I dint agree with the above comment because plastisol is in every can lid on the store shelves no body wants it, what’s the other choice must be a competitor with that remark you should certainly already know where to buy bare lids fir all your needs. I would use bear for canning and there are cheap and available and either plastics for storing or these accompanying ones here. I can none of us want plastic we don’t want GMO food or phthalates in any of our packaging we have it no matter how much we beg for changes.

Answer:	Hello, This cover has the Velcro closure on the corner can accommodate AC pipes and wires so it has the slits down the sides.
Question:	Will Ball wide mouth lids fit properly on these jars
Answer:	I don’t have to content with heavy winds. I never used the bungee cord. The cover did stay on the unit. However, I learned that the use of the cover was preventing the unit from breathing and my electric bill went sky high. It has since been removed.

Answer:	No. In fact, don't waste your money on these. The locks on the lids are very poor quality. I bought them for snacks at work. After two days we can not use the locks anymore.

Answer:	Do not buy anything from this seller. The jars are not air tight, they can't even hold water.
