Milk Frother - Step 1:

Connect the power cord plug to a suitable power outlet. Open the lid and attach the whisk onto the rotating shaft.

Answer:	According to Bodum they are. They plastic used is PP (Polypropylene) which is considered to be one of the safest plastics as BPA isn't used in PP. Either way you should know that plastics that use BPA or in the case of "BPA free plastic", another similar compound BPS is being used and has also been found to have estrogenic properties, ie it mimics estrogen. If you want to player it 'safer' don't use hard, clear plastic bottles made from polycarbonate, they are marked with the resin code number 7.

Answer:	Yes, the "frother screen assembly" has a circular plastic "outer" frame molded around a stainless steel circular 'inner" screen. The plastic is not in contact with the milk while it is being heated in a microwave oven. The circular plastic frame on the "frother screen assembly" is submersed in the warmed milk only during the frothing process, which is approximately 5 to 10 seconds.

Answer:	It's not waterproof as I discovered when I accidentally dropped my first one in the washing up bowl! However, it's very easy to keep clean. You can wash the metal element but just not submerge the black base.

Answer:	You can heat AND froth with the spring whisk. The one without the spring is for when you want to heat the milk only. You do not need to use the one without the spring unless you want to heat the milk only without frothing it.

Answer:	have not used the product, but foaming will also depend on the kind of almond milk you get. Pure almond milk is hard to foam. Almond milks made for coffee shops and baristas will have much better foam because they've had some form of vegetable oil and/or a gum added (how good that is for you depends on the specific kind, I think).

Answer:	The froth on a cup of matcha is not simply from whisking (though it does help), but rather from a compound in the matcha powder itself called saponin. Some matcha has higher saponin content than others, but all quality matcha should froth. If your cup of matcha isn't frothing the way you like, the mistake could be either one of the three: 1) Not sifting your Matcha If you want good froth, you have to sift. Matcha is ground into a super-fine powder, the particles have a tendency to clump together and pack very easily. This milk frother does an amazing job of that! Just sift before you add water. 2) Using cold water If your water is not hot enough (below 80C) your matcha may not froth correctly. Consider cold brew matcha. It is brewed with ice cold water, shaken vigorously, but only has a little, if any, froth to it. Using water hotter than optimum temperature is fine (but definitely not boiling). 3) Incorrect water to powder ratio You don't need a whole bowl of matcha powder to make an enjoyable drink, you simply need to get the ratio of powder to water right so it doesn't end up too thick. The ratio is typically 60-70 ml of water to 2 grams of matcha powder, or 1/2-1 teaspoon. In a proper pitcher, this leaves plenty of room to swirl and expand while it is whisked so it doesn't slosh over the sides. The room for movement is crucial in order to create frothing. Answer:	No. As a personal preference I first heat the milk in the microwave for about a minute but the frother works great - cold or hot.

Answer:	Haven’t tried it on eggs, but I would think it might work. I scramble eggs with a fork and it would work at least as well as that. You do have to hold it vertically to make it work.

Answer:	I don't think you need to worry about after-sales problems. The milk frother I bought was broken three months ago. After contacting the after-sales service, they immediately sent me a new one. This new one has no problems till now. It is very recommended.
