Answer:	Sorry I'm late, don't check this email very often. The dial goes to 400, but if you go past that mark, maybe 425. This is a good skillet. I've put several other brands in my yard sales as white elephants, but this one is a keeper.
Question:	On the box it says you can bake in it. Has anyone tried a lasagna or cornbread or something that requires baking
Answer:	The sides are about 21/2" to 3 " deep. It has a pour spout on one corner which makes the cover not seal. I have also contacted the company because after 3 uses the non stick is coming off. I would not buy this product again.
Question:	What is the maximum temperature the unit goes up to
Answer:	1400 watt . I did not like the unit and returned it. I found the Presto 16 inch fold away skillet a much better buy.

Question:	Can Bella send me a new handle? Mine was delivered broken
Answer:	I just got mine. It came without the knob and screw for the lid. Amazon wanted me to rebox the whole thing and return it so I could get another one with all the parts. I told them “just send me the missing parts. It will be easier, cheaper and I would be satisfied” I then the manufacturer and they said I had to go through the seller. My problem was not resolved. Luckily a knob fit from an old lid.

For Simmer: Add oil, shortening, butter or margarine to Electric Skillet and preheat to desired temperature. If required, brown food on all sides. Add liquid or make a sauce as directed in he recipe. With the temperature control set to 300 F - 350 F, bring liquid to a boil. Turn temperature control dial down just until indicator light goes out. This is the simmer point. Cover. Simmer food for the directed length of time or until food is done. Check periodically during cooking and add more liquid as necessary. DO NOT LET SKILLET BOIL DRY. I hope this helps. Best regards. BELLA Strawberries and Cream Skillet Shortcake

3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted

4 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt

1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature

2 cups granulated white sugar

4 eggs, 1 cup milk

1 tbsp vanilla extract

2 lb strawberries, hulled and chopped, divided

1 cup 35% heavy cream

1/4 cup icing sugar

Instructions

1) PREHEAT Bella Copper Ceramic Skillet to 275˚F. Line bottom of skillet with square of parchment paper.

2) Meanwhile, in bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In separate bowl and using electric mixer, beat butter and sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, incorporating each one fully before adding the next addition. Beat in vanilla.

3) With mixer on low, add flour mixture in 3 parts and milk in 2 parts, starting and ending with flour mixture, and scraping down bowl as needed. Fold in 2 cups chopped strawberries.

4) Scrape batter into skillet, smoothing top. Bake for 30-40 min or until tester inserted into center comes out clean.

5) Whip cream and icing sugar until peaks form. Spread over cake; top with remaining strawberries.

Answer:	The wattage rating is 1500 W.
Question:	What happens if water gets into the vents on the bottom
Answer:	I like the Presto 1500 Watt Wok, model 5900, available on Amazon. Its a 14" diameter stainless steel wok, so you don't have to deal with the delicate non-stick coating. Can use metal implements and clean up is not much harder then "non-stick" ie. best to put water in after using, let it sit for a few minutes on med. heat before washing. Can use a microfiber pad or any other scrubber for stubborn stains (rare). Also you don't need to wash every time....just heat up water in the wok to boiling and then rinse a couple times......heat kills germs! It might not look bright and shiny but its just as safe as a full cleaning.

Answer:	The coating is like Teflon. I only used this twice however because the electric control is very loose where it fits into the wok plus the temperature control is erratic and difficult to set. In the "OFF" position mine was still "ON" and hot.

Whenever I use it, I will spray a little bit of cooking spray on a paper towel and then wipe over it and I usually don't have any problems with anything sticking. You might want to use a little bit of soft scrub cleanser and let that sit for a bit to see if that will remove the stain. I do that when I do get sauces stuck on it. Question:	Are the piece easy to clean? Is the griddle removable to wash
Answer:	I believe this pan is made of cast aluminum with a nonstick coating. It makes "silver dollar" pancakes. I love using this pan to make my grandma's swedish pancakes. It reminds me of the one she used to have.
Question:	Will this heat to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
Answer:	I use a second large fry pan that I spray with spam. After a few minute of medium heat, when the pancakes are bubbly and have formed, I flip the pan over into the second pan and they cook in a few minutes on low heat. Then I fill up the first pan again with more batter. Provides a more consistent texture to the pancakes and cooks it through.
Question:	Does this include the cook book. i see in some reviews it did not come with it
Answer:	i use it for eggs all the time. brush a little oil on the pan to keep it from sticking. Extra large eggs may over run the indentures a little. I use a fork and keep the eggs from running together when they first start cooking.. I also use a fork to flip the eggs.

Answer:	My Swedish grandmother taught us to run a butter knife around the edge of each pancake, slip it under and flip. All the kids were using this method at a young age, the trick is not to flip too early!

Answer:	Can you buy a waffle plate accessory that fits the Cuisinart GR-300WS?
Question:	One review says heating elements are inside the plates. It's not mentioned anywhere in the description. Is this true? Are the plates hollow or solid
Answer:	The heating elements are built into the plates. And they are heavy (weight wise) too. I'd also say they are solid for good thermal conduction as air is not as good conduction of heat as is a solid internal surface would be. Each is labeled as to which side it is. I hand wash mine when necessary. They are very easy to clean with just a damp wet cloth with out any soap. Just make sure you have waited until they have totally cooled. I give them at least 45 min. Even thought the manual says 30 min.
Question:	Does it come with the waffle plates
Answer:	If you are asking about the GR-3000WS, no this does not have waffle plates.I believe the reason for this is the heating elements are in the plates themselves. Its what makes this model vastly superior to the other models.
Question:	Are the removable plates dishwasher safe
Answer:	My first thought, this is a nice appliance and replacement plates are expensive but may not be available indefinitely so take care of them. You can dishwasher them but why, scrape the plates with the provided scrapper, then wipe with paper towels. Dishwasher soap is caustic stuff and will shorten the life of none stainless steel parts. Instead of the dishwasher put these plates in sink with hot soapy water and before long what ever was on the plates can easily be washed off with a blue "Scotch Bright" brand scrubby--never use the green one.

Answer:	don't have a second hand, but the 1L started a rolling boil in about 2.5 minutes, and the unit shut off, before 3 minutes

Answer:	It looks like stainless steel covering the bottom. You can't actually see the coil. I have been using it now for months and I love it. Very clean and fast hot water.

Answer:	Plastic is STILL PLASTIC. IT STILL LEECHES OUT WHEN HEATED, even in simple sunlight. And BPA is just another very old patch-me- up word. By the way silicone, and softer plastics are more toxic. But no self respecting envoronmental allergy doc would rubber- stamp using plastic-- " anywhere you can avoud it." T-Fal is still unloading teflon too. Just a typical corporation into the bottom..line.
Question:	I'm interested in using for coffee as well as tea. Is this a good product if needing water around 200 degrees, not boiling
Answer:	I have used two different kettles (gave one to a roommate.) He claimed that the water from the medium setting was not so hot as the higher setting. I tested all three settings plus some points in between on the control. No matter where I set the dial, the water in the pot quickly came to a full boil. At sea level water boils at 212 degrees in an open pot. My conclusion after testing 2 kettles is that the temperature gauge does nothing. Boiling is boiling. How long the water boils does not matter--it will still be 212 degrees. That said, this is an excellent product. However, if you want the water to be less than 212 degrees, you will need to let it sit and cool off a bit.
