Question:	Whats the difference between ena 1 micro and a1 machines
Answer:	I got introduced to the Jura because we have the Ena Micro 1 at my office. I love the coffee it makes and literally drink about 6 per day. I bought the A1 for home thinking it would be about the same, maybe slightly improved because of PEP and upgraded grinder. I was actually disappointed by the A1. I found that the coffee tasted weak (I used the same beans as we’d been using at the office), and just didn’t have as much flavor. I used it for about 10 days at home before ordering an Ena Micro 1 to try along side it before returning one of them because I thought it was possible I was imagining that the A1 wasn’t as good. I found that yes in fact even side by side the Ena Micro 1 just makes better tasting coffee, even after several cups, beans from the same bag (medium roast Toms Malawi), same grinder knob position (original default), and with water amount programmed the same. I know the A1 sounds awesome when you read the enhancements, but I really feel confident that the Ena makes stronger coffee that to me tastes better.

Answer:	It says 175 degrees. I can’t verify because I put lots of cream in (yes I am a weenie). But the coffee is awesome. I am not a big coffee drinker and bought this for my wife for her birthday because the coffee is great. I haven’t had a hot tea since purchasing this.

Answer:	The water fill part lid is 2 1/2 and container slides out. The coffee bean side lid is 2 1/2 also. The clearance on the water side is 2 1/2 inches for the lid opening. The same for the bean lid opening. The rest depends on how one fills the bean side.

Answer:	Yes, but the less fat the milk has the better it froths.

Answer:	This product comes with the frother basket to put milk in and connecting tubing. It has a water filter with the extender for ease of putting in the water filter. It also contains cleaning 2 cleaning tablet for the machine and cleaning solution for frother. It has everything needed to get you started except coffee beans.
Question:	Why does this e8 have a lever on the milk frothing arm when others show the e8 with a dial on the the arm? is one an older model e
Answer:	I have a new E8 and the lever in vertical position gives maximum froth to the milk. When lever is horizontal you get plain hot milk with minimum foaming. I do not know if the dial serves the same function on older models. Probably does.
Question:	Does this machine produce good coffee at altitude? Does it need calibration at higher altitude
Answer:	I cannot answer the question directly but the machine allows a high degree of customization in the brewing process, Thus I you could compensate for any high altitude limitations

Question:	how can I make latte
Answer:	It has an automatic milk frother and you make a single or double espresso and add the frothed milk to your liking. You can tweak the amount of water in each espresso until you get it like you want it. Once you've found what's good for you, it's set. All very easy and automatic
Question:	Does the connector to the glass milk comes with it
Answer:	Yes, you get what’s pictured and also a flexible tube that connects the glass milk container to the coffee machine. I do recommend buying the special Jura milk cleaning solution too since you’ll want to clean the milk frother on the days it’s used!
Question:	Does this machine have the manufacturers 2 year warranty? If I choose to pay the extra $75., does it add 4 add’l years making it a 6 year warranty
Answer:	I don't know. I assumed a manufacturer's one year warranty and did not buy the extended. As I said in my review, this is my fourth (and cheapest) Jura and they work great for about five year.
Question:	There are conflicting notes on dimensions on the Amazon and the Jura site. Is the height under 14" to fit under an upper cabinet
Answer:	The height of our JURA is 14". We have it under a 16" cabinet and need to pull it forward (easily done with plastic slider underneath) when I add coffee or clean. a Real 14" cabinet may be too tight a fit IMO---great machine--just needs a tiny bit more of clearance.

Answer:	Hi, This is the unit I own and it is a large capacity machine. The bean hopper holds nearly a pound of coffee and it has a 100+ oz. water tank. This machine also uses the larger Pro filter cartridges. This is not the version with the extended side water tank and the "elevated" super capacity bean hopper. However, it is definitely Pro Series unit and I am very pleased with it. I own about 6 Jura's from a Giga 5, various Impressa's, to this unit, and they are all fantastic. This version is a great office model. Highly reccomended.

Answer:	Hello! Unfortunately this model is not compatible with the connection kits - only the following models: XJ, X8, X9, Giga X7, Giga W3, and XS90. I do agree with the previous comment by Dan, this machine does have a large water tank and would not need to be refilled as much as some of the smaller Jura units.
