Question:	Does the reservoir function to fill the single serve, or do you have to pour water in each time you use it to make a cup? Thank you
Answer:	The Cuisinart features two separate reservoirs — one to brew a full pot of coffee & one for a single-serve cup. The two reservoirs mean that when you brew a pot, you aren’t using up all of the water from the single-serve reservoir — which is a plus. However both reservoirs are somewhat difficult to access. To answer your question, you don’t have to pour water in each time for the single-serve function, which is an improvement over some other dual coffee makers (like the Hamilton Flex Brew). The single-serve reservoir holds 40 oz — enough to brew three 10 oz cups or five 6 oz cups before refilling. (It requires a limited amount of water to remain in the reservoir to work properly.) For a larger reservoir, consider the Keurig K-Duo Plus, which features a 60-63 oz single reservoir. Hope that helps:)

Answer:	It's amazing to me to see comments on anything but what is exactly described within this link for the DCC-3200P1. No, this isn't the DCC-3400. Yes, it has a glass carafe. The description says so in three places. Nowhere does the description mention a stainless carafe - NOWHERE. The photos show glass (I agree two of them have what looks to be coffee brewed, but at least one photo clearly shows an empty GLASS carafe.

Answer:	Yes you can pour a cup of coffee before it is totally finished brewing. It does not drip. Once you return carafe it just finishes filling. There is no problem with a drip. Per the instructions. It tells you it is ok to do and it works perfectly
Question:	Whar, besides style, is the difference between dcc3200 and dcc
Answer:	Taste: Coffee in the 3200 is more flavorful. A new machine might be expected to be better, but I think they've gotten the flow and temperature of the brewing process better.Temperature: The brewed coffee is much hotter. Both units have three temperature settings for the hot plate, but the settings on the 3200 are hotter.Size and Capacity. The 3200 handles 14 cups compared to the 1200's 12 cups. Yet as you can see from the photos, they are the same height to fit on a counter. They seem to get the extra capacity by making the 3200 a little deeper from front to back. We've been surprised at how useful the extra capacity is.Carafe: The new glass carafe is just like the old one, only larger. It pours nicely with or without the lid on it. The new lid works the same as the old one, popping off and on. (I read some complaints about the lid on an intervening model with a spring opening, but if so, they fixed that by going back to the 1200 style).As far as I can tell, there isn't a version of the 3200 designed for a thermal carafe like there is for the 12-cup models. I prefer the glass carafe because it keeps the coffee hotter longer, and I can always pour the coffee into a thermal carafe if I want to.Water Filling. The bigger size also increases the size of the water fill hole. The lid on the top of the 3200 unit raises to 90 degrees straight up, where the lid on the 1200 tilted further back and out of the way. Still the 3200 is easier to fill, and I suspect that the restriction on the tilt may help preserve the integrity of the hot water tube.Sneak a Cup. Taking out the carafe to sneak a cup during brewing worked great on the 1200 with little dripping, and still does on the 3200.Basket. The basket on the 3200 is very similar to the 1200, but a slightly different shape to accommodate more grounds for 14 cups. Actually, grounds just barely fit with a 4 cup paper filter in the new basket, and sometimes go above the filter in the basket. The basket actually seems more designed for the included gold filter.Water filter. The 3200 uses the exact same carbon filters and filter holder as the 1200, but the holder seems to fit more snugly in its hole, which may help prevent clogging (see below)Beep. The 3200 allows you to turn of the coffee-ready beep if you want.Controls. Controls on the 3200 are a little easier. The 3200 uses all push buttons with no switches. Separate hour and minute settings make it a little easier to program and set the clock. There is a new "Bold" setting which does indeed seem to result in stronger coffee. There is still a setting for smaller, 1-4 cup pots, but I never use that. You can still set the hot plate to stay hot for up to 4 hours, which is important to me. There is a fairly bright blue glow from the LED display on the 3200.Cleaning. There was a sensor button on the hot plate of the 1200 that's gone on the 3200, so the plate stays cleaner. The extra stainless steel looks good on the 3200 but probably shows smudges more and might benefit from special cleaner fluids.Coffee Grounds Overflowing and Clogging. This was the biggest problem before, and I don't know if it's fixed, but it seems better. On the 1200, if you put too many coffee grounds in the filter it could overflow in the brewing process, and sometimes grounds would get into the water system and clog the tube. The 1200 was designed not to be repairable, but customers tried anyway with some difficulty. After one successful repair, we eventually had to replace the 1200. So far, we have not had any overflow issues with the 3200. The larger basket (with possibly a bigger drip opening), the deeper reservoir and longer case, and the more stable, non-tilting lid may help with this, but we will see how it works over time. I do notice that they made the bottom panel easier to remove, with regular screws instead of Torx, if it ever comes to that. My one tip for users is to always use the filter holder with a filter in it, even if your water is fine, because that should help prevent grounds from getting into the heating system.In all, the 3200 is an excellent replacement for the 1200, and worth the extra money if you are choosing between the two models new.

Question:	Just wanting to know what is the functional difference between the cone and basket settings. what is the machine doing differently with each setting
Answer:	Lots of people online say they do crack dry soybeans with this mill. I tend to only use the fine setting but it looks like it could be set to very course.
Question:	Is the base of this coffee maker 12.4 inches wide like the manufacturer states or is it 13.5 as Amazon says? I have a real tight location for this
Answer:	Yes, the grain mill does fit and it works well on an older champion. I grind wheat and make my own bread with the champion.
Question:	Dies this Breville coffee maker have an automatic shutoff and is it programmable so that I can prep it the night before and it brews the next morning
Answer:	It did not work for me it was very difficult to take off and put on. I had the model listed you are asking about I emailed champion and I found out this one is for the newer model. I returned it.
Question:	Hi, is water tank removable
Answer:	That depends on the grain. Harder grains like wheat take a little longer. Millet or sorghum take less time. What I have found to be the best way to mill hard grains is to set the stones wide and just crack the grain first. Then I reset the stones to the setting I want my flour to be and run it through again. It takes about 1/2 the time to do it this way in my experience. If I set the stones narrow right off it can take up to 1/2 hour to mill 3-5# of grain. It's more work the way I've described, but if you're like me, time is money! :-)

Answer:	There is a reusable mesh filter basket and also a cone insert for use with paper cones that come with the Breville® BDC400 Precision Brewer™ Thermal.

Answer:	This coffee maker is programmable. You just have to make sure that you set the clock. Load your coffee and water, then depress the auto start button and it will prompt you to adjust your start time by rotating the select dial.

Answer:	the heating element on my machine stays on for maybe 30 seconds

Answer:	You can choose to use the filter however it works without itt, just a bit of coffee ground is found in the bottom

Answer:	was bought for my church and we only make coffee.
Question:	how long is the brewing cycle
Answer:	No it is not normal. Our church has several urns. 3 are 100 cup another is 55 (another brand) None of those drip from the top of the urn when brewing. It has nothing to do with the amount of water or the lid too tight. Actually the lid on the one we purchased was the same as to it's fit. Something is wrong with the construction of this brand and it's too bad. West Bend has always been so reliable in the past.

Question:	Can you use K-Cups for this and how
Answer:	As long as you can dump the contents of the K-cup into the little filter. Lots of people claim it is a waste, but we ended up with a case of k-cups that made a brew the wife loved...but they popped 75%+ of the time in the K-cup machine, after we had trouble with the previous case at about 50% pop rate. Now, they make great little sealed containers for use on trips and all you need is a thumbnail to peel off the foil top to get at the coffee.
Question:	What is the tallest mug you can put in there
Answer:	It comes with a 7" tall travel mug that keeps the coffee hot. I checked and that is the tallest - no extra room!
Question:	can you use any coffee cup and not just travel cup
Answer:	You can use any tall coffee cup.
Question:	can you use k-cups for this
Answer:	Thinking of buying this or another 4 star brand - going with this one - description says use ground coffee or coffee pods (NOT K-CUPS). I have seen these coffee pods in stores, they look like tea bags without the string. The other 4 star brand does not say you can use the pods, but I don't see why not. Black & Decker is a more familiar name to me.
