Answer:	We estimate 30-60 minutes per challenge. I usually have kids start with Challenge #3: "Build a machine that draws curvy lines." You will find step-by-step instructions for that Challenge on page 14 of the printed guide that comes with the Catalyst. We also have a video that shows the steps on our website. Once Tinkerers have completed Challenge #3 they'll have a good understanding of the components in the kit and how they work, and can invent their own solutions to the other Challenges. Or make up their own unique inventions!

Answer:	I hadn't tried it on carpet but I would think itd work just as fine as long as the carpet isn't super long. You can use the mouse just on the hardwood floor itself or a table top too. You don't have to use the maze board. I just didn't want to get any hair wrapped up in the wheels by using hit on the floor

Answer:	No, the LEGO Boost software and hardware is not designed to be functional with the LEGO Mindstorms software or hardware.

Answer:	although Lego says Kindle Fire 7 2017 works with the app, we found it to not work with our brand new 7th generation Fire 7s. The app either kicks us out or freezes repeatedly, on two devices. We had to use my smartphone as a platform instead. I am actually very surprised if others have no issues with the Fire 7
Question:	How do I turn off the hub while we are building, to save the batteries? Pressing the button does not seem to have any effect

Question:	I’ve seen multiple reviews saying that the Lego boost app does not work in Kindle kids’ profiles (FreeTime). Has Lego fixed this yet
Answer:	As of February 4, 2020, I was able to get the Lego Boost app on my child’s Amazon Fire Tablet!! It took me a minute to figure it out: In my profile on her tablet, I had to disable the ”Parental Controls”, then and only then was I able to download the app Lego Boost. Then, I turned the ”Parental Control” feature back on, while still in my profile, I went to ”Manage Child’s Profile”, “Add Content”, ”Share”, and then I was able to select which apps I wanted to show up on her profile. The Lego Boost app was one of those. Then I logged out of my profile and into hers, voilà there was the Lego Boost app on her profile and it works! Whew!

Answer:	No, it is not motorized. It only has 1 lighted block that the robot uses to point and shine (manually). Plus the tracks come off the gears pretty easy in normal play.

Answer:	Well it has quite a few unique lego pieces but some are pretty common that he could swap out for another color or similar parts. Like all Legos, they are pretty flexible to change.

Answer:	Hi there! LEGO® bricks are A-Okay in plain water. You'll want to make sure that the water doesn't contain any harsh chemicals or cleaners, though (chlorinated pools, for example). And also make sure you let your bricks air-dry - no hot dryers as the temperature can make bricks change their shape. Answer:	Hi there! Our bricks are A-Okay underwater as long keep in mind some basic care tips. For example, make sure to have them in plain water - water that has chemicals in it (like pools) might not be good for the bricks. You'll also want to make sure the water isn't too hot, as that can make the plastic change shape. Lastly, always dry your bricks with a cloth, or let them air dry. Answer:	I have both and the Stunt Racer 42095 has stronger motors and is faster than the 42065. The 42065 has one motor in front and one in the back. 42095 has both motors toward the rear. Hope this helps!
