Answer:	The color of the lens can "enhance" different colors, but functionally, no. It's really an aesthetic preference. They're all polarized, which has more to do with reducing glare from reflected surfaces than with color.

Step 1

For each 4-ounce demitasse-size cup, spoon about 1 rounded tablespoon of coffee into the pot, and prepare to experience the most delicious coffee you’ve ever tasted. Whether you grind it yourself or choose a pre-ground coffee blend, use a coarser grind of coffee for results.

Step 2

Heat up a kettle of water on the stove; the water should be piping hot but not yet boiling. Pour the hot water into the pot, leaving a minimum of 1 inch of space at the top. Be sure to stir the brew thoroughly (using a plastic spoon is preferred) as the coffee will naturally gravitate toward the top.

Step 3

Place the plunger unit on top of the pot. Turn the lid to close off the pour spout opening. Do not press down yet; now you'll let your coffee steep for about 4 minutes for medium to bold flavor. Let your coffee brew steep a bit longer or shorter depending on your taste preference.

Step 4

Hold the pot handle firmly, with the spout turned away from you, then using just the weight of your hand, apply slight pressure on top of the knob to lower the plunger straight down into the pot. Lowering the plunger slowly with minimal pressure produces the results. Pour and serve.
