Answer:	There's a really good stainless steel one that I use from Amazon. Search "Basket 8-12 Cup Perment Coffee Filter fit for Mr. Coffee Black & Decker Coffee Makers" It cleans very well and because it's not paper it won't filter out the oils that help the coffee taste fuller.

Answer:	The water's supposed to come out initially at a lower pressure to dampen the grounds before it reverts to full pressure for the brewing process. My experience with my Bonavita BV1900TS has been that the coffee brewed without pre-infusion seems stronger than brewed with it. And yes, the light remains steady when pre-infusion is off and blinking when it's on. You have to hold the power switch done five seconds until it blinks for on or blinks for off. You have to hold it down again for 5 seconds to change it from on to off or vice versa.
Question:	How does the pre-infusion work because once I push the button and it flashes no water comes out to wet the grounds
Answer:	Sure you can. Connect your phone to your WIFI, find the coffee maker and connect to it. If you cannot find the coffee maker, call tech support. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, hang up and try again. Keep trying until your phone bill is at least 100 bucks. After that, call your kids to see if they know how to get it going. Before they give up and walk away, have them turn it on by pushing the button.

Answer:	You should have an insert in your water reservoir. If you do not then you do not have a filter yet and would advise getting one. If there is one just reach your hand in there once the water is down and pull it out. At the other end you will see a filter. Pull out the plastic cover and pull out filter and replace

Question:	Will this carafe work with model 1050B, if I use the flap lid from the original carafe that broke
Answer:	I had the hardest time replacing mine for the same reason. I finally got smart and called B&D directly. I told them the problem, that I thought it was a weakness in the top design, the model number of my coffee maker. They sent me a new carafe, no charge, within the week--faster than Amazon might have sent it and no charge to boot! The one I bought from Amazon worked, but obvious it was not specifically designed for my coffee maker, as I had to sort of wiggle it to get it seated properly.
Question:	will this fit a B&D model CM4000S? thanks
Answer:	Not sure which model is which, but the two lids it came with does not fit our coffee maker. However, our old lid did fit the carafe and therefore works. If you order this model try your old lid on the new carafe.
Question:	Will this fit model CM 1050B
Answer:	When you purchase this replacement carafe, there are 2 flap-lids: one is for models DXL1050B, DE755B, DCM100B, CM1010B & CM5050. The other flap-lid to the carafe fits models DXL1050W, DE755 & DCM100W. The bubble on the top of the lid is too tall for the model CM1050B and catches on the Sneak-a-Cup auto-stop drip valve at the bottom of the drip basket. I called B&D and the carafes are on back-order and not available for at least 2 weeks and cost $17.99---a whole coffee maker at WalMart is only $19.99!! However, this replacement carafe (for model GC3000B) CAN work---it is just a very TIGHT fit with the most shallow lid and if you are not careful, you will pull down your coffee maker when you try to remove the carafe and makes the filter basket a tiny bit cocked while the carafe is inserted. I wish I had known the flap-lid was removeable when I broke my carafe and I would have saved it. It was such a shock to me to hold a skeleton of my carafe that I just threw it all away!

Answer:	I found a made in China sticker displayed on the bottom of the carafe. The box proudly says designed and assembled in the US. Weasel wordsmithing.

Answer:	Absolutely, but the minimum they recommend is 24 oz which is 1/2 a pot. This is typically what I brew each morning. Fills a good size travel mug with just a bit left over.
Question:	Which gold filter does ss-15 12-cup coffee maker and single-serve brewer use the flat or the cone shaped filter
Answer:	I had concerns about how much power it consumed, put ours on a timer, keeping the water hot for a few hours a day, in the morning when we make our one pot of coffee for the day.
Question:	Does the reservoir function to fill the single serve, or do you have to pour water in each time you use it to make a cup? Thank you
Answer:	I bought mine in November 2018. The first time I plugged it in and made the first test run, there was only a slight plastic burning smell. Afterward, there was no smell.

Question:	Does this work with coffee grounds that are not coarse
Answer:	The flavor depends on which grounds you use. Expect it to turn out 3 times stronger than a regular brewed cup of coffee & use dark roasts for best results. In this put 1 1/2 cups grounds (buy beans & set grinder to largest size - I use a paper place to create a "funnel" to pour grounds into the filter) first then add 6 cups of water poured into the grounds to wet them. (4 cups water to 1 cup grounds) Shake a bit a few times during the 20 hr brewing period. I brew mine on the counter, some put it in the fridge. I take it a step further to remove very fine bits using a coffee carafe with filter holder & coffee filter (Cuisinart filter holder sits nicely in place on carafe). This removes the tiny "grit" left. You can use any way you'd like. Dilute for a cup of smooth tasting coffee (this takes out the acidity & bitterness) or use to create cold drinks & more. Many possibilities with this! It makes some awesome tasting coffee!
Question:	Are all components dishwasher safe
Answer:	160 microns is approximately 90 U. S. Mesh or Roughly .006" The smaller the micron number, the smaller the size hole. The LARGER the mesh number, the smaller the hole. A 600 U. S. mesh is about 20 microns or .0008" A normal size water pre-filter is about 20 microns.
Question:	What are the product dimensions (height including lid, and diameter at base)? Trying to figure out if this will fit in my fridge
Answer:	I make it in the evening and let it sit out until I go to bed. Then I put it in the fridge, continuing to let it steep throughout the night. I remove the grounds in the morning, pour a cup and store the leftover in the fridge.

Question:	Cold brew tastes watered down after 24 hrs. What did I do wrong
Answer:	Are you using enough coffee grounds (I put in 14 tablespoons per pitcher full of water and then have to add water to my glass when using or it’s too strong)? Brewing for at least 24 hours in fridge? Not too rough a grind, at least medium grind and not too fine or it goes through filter.
Question:	Do you Diluate it with water after its steeped for a day or two when serving? Or serve as is
Answer:	You put your coffee grounds in the filter screen that comes with your Primula. You then fill with water and let it steep for 24 hours or longer. I stir the grounds in the middle of the brew time and throughout periodically for a good strong brew. Make sure the pot is full with water to the rim. I hope this helps you.
Question:	Does the top make an airtight seal? Like is it twist to pour? Thanks
Answer:	The lid fits very snug on the top and you can twist it so that it pours nicely, there are holes for the coffee to come out. But if it is tipped over the coffee will run out, so it is not totally airtight. I do Love this cold brew coffee maker very much. Hope that helps.
Question:	Do you pour all the water into the grounds, or just the first 2 cups, then the rest into the carafe
Answer:	You pour all of the water slowly over the grounds. You start with the two cups to moisten the grounds. Then add the rest of the water until the pot is filled to the top of the glass “window.” Be sure that you use about a cup of “cold brew” coffee grounds, which are coarser than regular coffee grounds. And I use a chop stick to very carefully stir the grounds a couple of times during the 24 hour brewing process. The coffee is awesome! We love this brewer!
