But if you veer toward the finer end of the coarse scale, the grinds get more consistent. This is due to the conical burr mechanism of this device, which is primarily for expresso machine or stovepot. All you receive is the "operating and safety instructions" and that's it. Answer:	I ordered 2 of these and it didn't have a replacement blade included, however, I use 1 for coffee and 1 for nuts and to date have not needed to replace and it's been continual use for nearly a year now.

Answer:	To people who like strong coffee its about 12 ml water to 1 gram coffee which will give you about 2.5 12oz cups. A more typical 15 ml water to 1 gram coffee will give you 3 12oz coffees

Answer:	Yes and no. I run my grinder for about 7 seconds get get it fine. I tried it for 4 seconds and it was course but not uniformly ground. most of the grounds are what you would want but there are some larger pieces. A hand held grinder might actually work better for you. I have had many grinders and this one is by far the most quiet. Hope this helps.

Answer:	To be honest, I did not read the directions. I could see it only had two things to consider; a chord and a pressure actuated lid. That's it! To this day I never read those instructions. If it did say to turn the lid in an anti-clockwise direction, this would make no sense. You cannot turn the lid in any direction. Sorry

Answer:	It will definitely work, a French Press just needs a moderately coarse grind, and any blade type grinder can do that, you'll just need to determine the timing (i.e, x seconds with y amount of beans). I don't own this specific grinder, but shopping it for a possible gift, however, we used to use a blade type grinder before we upgraded). The big benefits with a conical burr grinder are: 1) consistent grind size (blade grinders have a little more variation in the grind output), and 2) burr designs usually pass the beans through the grinding mechanism (vs. sitting in the grind area) so it's not a timing thing, you just set the grind size.
