The only pots I couldn't use well on a flat top were my old Reverware pots with the copper bottoms. They would just dance around. However, I'm told that cast iron may scratch your flat cooktop so caution is key. Hope this is helpful! |

Answer: | Think of seasoning like this: if a pan says it is "seasoned" by the manufacturer, that simply means it is "food grade anti-rust protection". You can use the cleaning mode on your oven to remove this layer and apply your own although it will heat up your house and stink it up as well with burnt oil. Your best bet is to take some sand paper to it and smooth it out so it's not so rough to remove some of the "seasoning" applied by the manufacturer and then reseason it with whatever you'd like. You can use pretty much anything you have on hand although I'd recommend something cheap but with a high smoke point like peanut oil or canola oil. I personally prefer peanut because when it burns it tends to smell sweet and canola tends to smell fishy. Aside from that if the above paragraph sounds like too much work, just start using it out of the box after washing it well and you'll never have to worry about it. The more you use it the better the seasoning will get. You can use wood, plastic or metal spoons or spatulas but I'd avoid plastic because it'll melt on ya. It will be strong like glass once it's seasoned properly. I personally use a sander on any new cast iron that isn't pre-polished. I know it will wear down over time but I just hate the rough finish it has and prefer to get it broken in quicker. |

Just like using it in the oven, put it on the grill before firing up the heat. And I suggest using indirect heat. I set the flames to low or med-low directly beneath the stone, and crank those on either side to high. Haven't had any problems... other than an intense desire to eat pizza every night. |

Answer: | This pan is made from heavy gauge aluminum, hard coat anodized and finished with an easy release finish. There are good reasons to use this type of pan over steel. For one, you must season steel pans which takes a lot of time and if not used regularly (several times a week) the seasoning can flake off. Steel pans also rust. LPK pans do not need any seasoning, they never rust, are metal utensil safe and are very efficient at conducting heat. Many pizza restaurants use our pans, including brands you certainly know. |

Answer: | No this pan is made from heavy gauge aluminum and hard coat anodized then sprayed with our easy release finish. No pre-seasoning is necessary nor recommended. Our finish is 100% non-toxic. It is not advertised as non-stick but rather easy release. We still recommend using oil on the bottom and sides to insure an easy release. Also we recommend using a metal spatula to de-pan with. Yes that is correct our finish is metal utensil safe and will not chip, peel, flake or bake off. |

Answer: | I use it in the oven never tried it on the grill and I just use soap and water to clean it . But there are a few stains that I can’t remove which is fine by me. |

Answer: | I clean mine this way - leave it in the oven until completely cool. The next day is good. Clean by hand in the sink with hot water and dish soap. I use a scrub brush. Always remember to heart it in the oven as the oven heats. No germs will be left by the time you put the pizza on it. |
Question: | Is there a best way to transfer pizza onto stone to cook with out it falling apart . What is best to prepare it on |
Answer: | As others have said, put lots of corn meal or semolina flour on the peel before the dough is placed on it. Quickly prepare the pizza (e.g. in less than 5 minutes) and gently lift the edges of the dough before sliding off onto the hot stone. |

Answer: | yes it works perfectly. I use 500 degree heat and let the stone in the oven. Then I make the pizza and use the peal to put it on the hot stone. Makes crust really crispy |

Answer: | Made in China. Just received my griddle and after scrolling down some of the other products were made in USA. That was the main selling point for me. They omitted where the griddle was made though upon closer inspection. |
