Answer:	Yes, it is good for making a silkier nut milk. The holes are tighter and smaller then nylon. Cleaning is never a problem for me as I rince it off right away and hang it on dish drain. But the dishwasher works well and even washing machine with a natural, biodegradable soap and it's almost like new again.

Answer:	You may have better luck using a drum type (tami) sifter to sift out the larger hulls. You may risk warping the mesh as the bail makes firm contact with it to push the contents through and break up small lumps. It would likely be okay to use to sift out smaller particles. It's very sturdy

Answer:	I've never used a nylon bag but I've used many other things. This bag filters out nearly all the solids. I use mine for Labneh (yogurt cheese) only - to avoid tainting the cheese and staining the bag. I'm left with a clear whey with a slight yellowish cast. I use pieces of sheets ready for the rag bag for stocks and even stock stains. When those run out, I'll buy another bag and use it only for stock.

Answer:	The flaps are not hinged. They are extruded plastic to create the fold, and have a catch on each one to lock down the lid. The lid also has a seal so that it makes the container airtight.

Answer:	I called Augason Farms to ask this exact question. Per the lady on the phone, the oats that they use in their buckets and #10 cans are the same. However, only the #10 cans are labeled gluten-free because they are the only ones processed/packaged to meet the GF requirements. The oats in the bucket are packaged on different equipment and could have some cross-contamination.
