Answer:	We do not remove the existing butane before refilling. But we also usually run it until it is empty before refilling.

1. Do not exceed the MAX line when filling gas, otherwise a long flame will rush out from the tube after ignition. If needed, let out some butane by depressurize the valve with the tool included

2. Use the outer part of flame to heat, for it’s the hottest part and using outer part means keeping proper distance between food and tube, which prevents the flame from back burning

3. Do not continuously use the torch more than 5 minutes, take a break to let it cool down before another use, which will greatly expand the lifespan of the culinary torch

1. Depressurize the torch: press the filling valve of the torch with the tool for about 10s

3. 5 minutes of standing: turn the torch over and check .
