Answer:	Yes it does. I use it to light the wood in my chiminea on my deck. I would try to do this with a cigarette lighter and the flame would blow out from the wind. The torch lighter never blows out. The flame is very powerful. I solved my problem with it. So glad I bought it.

Answer:	Quite a bit. It's kind of hard to tell. I bought a medium sized container. I would say it used less then a 1/3. I've played around with it. Making the flame all sizes seeing how it worked. Then I made Smores in muffin tins and at the end when it told me to broil it. I torched it instead. I used it, my 20 year old son and 10 year old daughter too. And I'd say the canister on it is still about half full. I love mine. It's fun. I think it has a lot of uses not just in the kitchen.

How to use the red tool

The red plastic tool with two nozzles is for depressurizing the torch before refilling. It works like a screwdriver but won't scratch the torch.

Question:	I plan to only use sparingly. Would it be safe to remove butane can in between use
Answer:	The manufacturer of the torch and canister both say it should be removed for storage, and the canister stored away from all flammable sources. So, "Yes" to your question, BUT... it is not convenient to store the canister separately and my experience with these types of containers is they can also leak after removal. So, I leave it attached and tightly turned off. Have had no problems yet.

2. Use the outer part of flame to heat, for it’s the hottest part and using outer part means keeping proper distance between food and tube, which prevents the flame from back burning
