Answer:	The package says that the needles were manufactured in India.

Answer:	As the package states, it is a size 3. Size 3 was called for in the baby blanket pattern, so that is what I bought. I did not bother measuring it but assumed it to be accurate. The blanket turned out beautiful and the correct size. The needles were smooth and snag free making them easy to use.
Question:	my needle is actually a 5 is this miss marked
Answer:	The 16 is the length of the needle, 5 is the circumference of the needle. If the package lists a 5 it is a size 5. You can buy a gauge to check the size of your needles. This is a good idea because I recently bought straight needles marked 10 but measured a 10 1/2.
