can you tell me what the actual pattern width is, so it can be installed without cutting through the pattern

Answer:

I have successfully cut out round "portholes" (using a plate as a guide), made designs and trimmed off edges. A sharp #11 exacto knife it is best for rounded cuts. Cut after the film is adhered to the window. Use a larger size film than the window, apply it well, pushing in the corners before cutting. Make sure the blade is sharp with point intact and cut at an angle into the frame. It is better to take off too little than too much, you can always do another cut (or you end up with space between window and frame). Good luck!
