Inside The Window Recess

We advise you make a set of measurements down the side of the window jamb, as sometimes windows recesses are not always square. If the measurements differ, select the shortest.

Take a small deduction of about 0.39" from the width you have entered to ensure your blind fits perfectly within the recess.

Outside The Window Recess

We advise you fit your blinds outside of the window recess if the window opens inwards, if the window is not straight, or if the recess depth is less than 3.14".

Question:	Are these rollers "slow rise"? (i.e. tug down and then let go of the shade and the shade will slowly retract) or do you need to hold on to the cord
Answer:	I would think so, with two caveats. 1. Depends on where you plan to mount. If you intend to mount the shades out on the face of the window trim or up above the window, you should have no problem. 2. If your 62" measurement is left to right INSIDE the window frame and you intend to mount the shades INSIDE the frame, that will require you to install the mounting brackets for each shade on the top INSIDE the frame. (Like the one in the picture on Amazon). That could end up being a tight squeeze. On our shades the left to right measurement was of the shade itself and the rollup mechanism stuck out a little bit on each side of the shade. Plus, you need a little room to operate the shade. Hope I have made myself clear. Our install was easy and we have enjoyed our shades with no problem so far.

Inside The Window Recess

We advise you make a set of measurements down the side of the window jamb, as sometimes windows recesses are not always square. If the measurements differ, select the shortest.

Take a small deduction of about 0.39" from the width you have entered to ensure your blind fits perfectly within the recess.

Outside The Window Recess

We advise you fit your blinds outside of the window recess if the window opens inwards, if the window is not straight, or if the recess depth is less than 3.14".

Answer:	I believe the curtains do help keep the room warmer. At night when they are closed I am able to sleep under just one blanket as opposed to a blanket and sheet and have on heavy jammies.

Answer:	Yes, these drapes are machine washable. I recommend after washing you dry them only enough to knock the wrinkles out....5 to 8 minutes in a cool dryer.....then hang them to dry.
