Answer: My shower curtain has 12 grommets, and this liner has 10. It works okay for me. The ends of the shower curtain are short of the liner, but not by much. I believe the standard shower curtain has 12 grommets, so you can have a little bunching as opposed to pulling it tight across. Hope this helps.
