Answer:	Mine measures 77” from rail to rail. But i have a king size bed and the rails go to the end. I bought two, one for side and one for foot of bed. It comes with a connector so it keeps the two rails together where they meet. Theres at most 1 inch crack where the rails meet. Would be really hard to squeeze through. Hope this helps!

The only "problem " was that the first night my wife & I used them we didn't wake up until 10:45 am the next day ! Thank goodness we are retired !

Answer:	To be honest I don’t notice a lot of sound (except when my Yorkie barks at something outside) so I’m not positive if it’s the curtains or the neighborhood. I mainly close the living room ones to watch TV because of the reflection from the windows & they work great for that!! I love them...I don’t close the bedroom ones! Sorry I couldn’t be more help but I think they’d block the sound also! If not all of it, some of it. Would probably depend on how close you are to your neighbors as well.

Answer:	Well for my windows they work well. My windows are the original 1986 windows that came with the house. If you put your hand behind the curtains you will feel the temperature difference. They do help a lot with the cold but I don't know about heat. These are only on the shaded side of the house right now. I think they do very well until I replace my windows. Hope this helps.
