Question:	Can it be attached to a ceiling
Answer:	Yes. I attached mine to the top (inside) of the window frame. A ceiling would be no different. It's peel & stick and the tape holds on to whatever it's stuck to. Really well. These were a great buy. Not perfect but for the money they more than do the trick. They look like much more expensive blinds. Use a really sharp razor knife to trim (I used a carpet cutting flat blade) you can buy at home depot.
Question:	How much does this help with heat? We have one bedroom that gets light all day and gets terribly hot. Would this help keep it cooler

However, to notice a real temperature change within the room, I would recommend the Easy Lift Light Blocking Cellular shade. If a sticky residue is left behind, try wiping it off with your finger, or Goo Gone also works well. There shouldn't be any damage to your window, as this is installed with an adhesive. That would mean adding about 2" to 6" to the width and height of the window opening. Doing this will mean that you get a fuller coverage for the overall window.
