Question:	does the adhesive work well on textured walls
Answer:	It’s a reasonably good adhesive for flat smooth surfaces, but does lose some ability to adhere with changes in humidity inside a house. We just glued it up when it began to come loose. It still works well. Where there was irregularity innthe surface of the window casing or wall, it did not adhere as well. So my answer to that question would have to be no.

Answer:	If you measured the actual window frame, you should order a 36" because the actual shade the send you will be 35 and a half inches.

Answer:	NO they are not. They are some completely different mechanism to hang. You have to either mount them to the ceiling of your window frame, or to the wall on either side of the window frame! I have yet to figure out how the heck this thing works. The blinds do NOT fit standard box end brackets like most miniblinds.

Answer:	The shade I bought was "light filtering", which is translucent. You can't see through it, but it lets some light through. If you want opaque, look for a shade described ad "room darkening". I think either type would work to hide the whiteboard.
