Fiber-lok non skid rug backing may be applied to new and old rugs. Simply brush the back side of a rug with a thin, even coat of fiber-lok. Two thin coats are better than one heavy application. Fiber-lok will appear transparent when it is dry and ready to re-coat. The second coat should be applied within 12 hours of the first. Clean your brush with soap and cold water. Allow 1 week before washing rug. DO NOT dry clean rugs treated with Fiber-Lok or clean with a product that contains solvents. Fiber-Lok may slip on a wet surface. Ideal for latch hook rugs, punch rugs, wall hangings, and bottom of slippers.

Answer:	We used it on a rug that was on top of carpet, it did help a lot but it still will move. I plan to put more on it to see if that helps. It definitely helped but not 100% I would say 89% which isn't too bad. It is a high traveled area.
Question:	I see a lot reviews for the gray a nd but not for the beige. It looks like there is white mixed in with beige, is it white or cream
Answer:	So many conflicting answers. The correct answer is CLEAR! As it comes out of the jar... it is snow white but it dries clear. Period. It has no color when dry. That said, like any clear coating that wets a surface it can darken the surface (like the way a concrete driveway or a piece of wood will darken when it gets wet) Example: If a rug back is gold in color it might appear a darker gold or golden grown... who knows. But since its on the underside of the carpet that doesn't show who cares as long as it works. Anyway, because it dries to form a rubberized type of film, the darker look you see when the product is applied may remain after it is dry in the same way a piece of raw wood furniture darkens .... and remains darker after it gets a coat of clear lacquer.
