For initial use,be sure the input voltage marked on the transformer must be same as your local power supply. If not, please do not use it until get a correct transformer from your local distributor.

Place the MIST MAKER into a water container placidly, and pour into enough clean water.If the water is not enough to submerge the water-lever sensor switch, it can not generate mist;But if the water depth is too high,the mist is small or even no mist generated. Please refer to the following drawing No.2 for the best water lever. Place the transformer in a drafty place,and far away moist place.

Very Important ！Caution when install the fog output pipe

During installation, if the fog output pipe is bent downward, because the principle that fog will condense into water in the depression, the fog outlet pipe will be blocked by water after a period of time.

If the fog output pipe is blocked, there will no fog come out, and will cause fog to leak from the sides, or cause fog condense into water and leak from the bottom of fogger.

How to install the fog output pipe correctly: make the pipe form a smooth upward curve without any 'U' shaped bends, as shown in the picture above

when install the water tank, please check whether the white lid on bottom of water tank is tilt or stuck, if is, please push it back to the middle.

Answer:	I rescued one of these fans from a free pile and it was making a rattling sound upon startup. Removing the cage and applying couple drops of 3-in-1 motor oil to the motor shaft completely resolved the problem. Recommend doing this every year for any fan you have as regular maintenance.

Answer:	The front and back can be easily wiped down, for the blades you can use a duster.

Answer:	Not to sound like a radical, but these fans are made to withstand a little bit of rain. I gently hose ours off, in the shower, with the spray shower hose, avoiding electronics. I let it dry for a day, works fine.

Answer:	On low or med it very quiet on high it's louder but not terrible. It's the best fan we have bought in a while I sure hope it lasts.
