Answer:	I would think that you could, but I wouldn't put really heavy stuff on there.

Answer:	They come with anchors/screws, but Be make sure you check the hanging brackets! Each side has an inset hanger and on my shelves, they were not in the same place on each side - making it impossible to measure the distance between the 2 brackets as instructed to install the anchor/screw. Well, at least not if you want the shelf to be anywhere close to level! Frustrating and not worth it. Wish I had spent a little more on quality shelves.
