Radio Controlled
Projection of Current Time
Accurate radio-controlled clock
Slim, compact design - ideal for travel
Bright HiGlo backlight for viewing in the dark
Slim and classy, this travel clock with its own leather case makes a perfect gift. Time is displayed in both analog and digital format, and a projection light with focus knob beams a digital time image onto the ceiling. Radio signals from the U.S. atomic clock keep the clock automatically synchronized; this feature can be disabled if desired. Pressing the snooze button activates for five seconds both the blue HiGlo backlight (a slight hum will be heard) and the projection feature. An included 7.5-volt power adapter enables continuous projection. Two hour-offset functions allow a choice of time zone and let travelers see current time locally as well as at home. Select one of five languages to display the day of the week, and choose either a 12- or 24-hour format for the time. The crescendo alarm starts beeping gently, then builds in intensity and will go off automatically after two minutes unless the 8-minute snooze button or alarm button is pressed. Measuring 4 by 2-3/8 by 3/4 inches, with buttons and projection knob on top, the clock runs on two AAA batteries (included), and is covered by a three-month warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

Question: | Is there a way to focus the projection mine is blurry on my ceiling |
Answer: | I’ve had no problem with the focus on my ceiling... and I don’t think it is adjustable. Maybe there is a protective film covering the projector. You may have to return it. |
Question: | Does it work in the mountains |
Answer: | Assuming the clock can receive the signal from the US atomic clock, it should work in the mountains. The clocks have a time-zone setting on them. |
Question: | Does this clock automatically change between standard time and daylight savings time? if not, how does the owner adjust it |
Answer: | it is supposed to, but we would have to take it to another part of the house to pick up the radio signal. We just change the time zone back and forth from mountain time to pacific time. Much easier than resetting the clock every six months! |

User questions & answers
Question: | How do you get the time to display on the wall? When i replugged it in, the display only portrays onto wall a few minutes after pressing/holding alarm |
Answer: | Absolutely. I've washed mine several times as I have pets (shedding). Also, because they are so lightweight, they tend to loosen up around the brim after a good stint of wearing and washing brings them back to the normal snug fit. I'm actually planning to buy a few more, a couple in different colors and then a couple more black ones so that when one is being washed, I will have a 'fresh' black one to wear as that is my go-to color. |
Question: | Outdoor temp does not work. changed batteries . do I need a new unit or a new weather station |
Answer: | It would depend on the type and strength of the hat clip. The material of the beanie is quite thin so an alligator clip might damage the beanie, especially if it gets moved around a lot. |
Question: | How do you fix when numbers are backwards |
Answer: | yes |
Question: | How to set alarm |
Answer: | Hello Joe,it maybe a little tight for head size 59cm but the cap is stretchy, you can try it and No worries! As part of Babys Chois product warranty, we will like to offer you a refund for the caps if they don't fit well. you can me a message through the Amazon "Contact this Seller" link here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/help/contact/A1111T7ZN40USD?marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&sellerID=A1111T7ZN40USD&_encoding=UTF8&ref_=v_sp_contact_seller& If the link above, doesn't work, simply click on "Babys Chois" on the product page and on the next page that appears, click on the "Ask a question" button. Housed in high-tech blue plastic, this alarm clock is far more sophisticated than its cute appearance may lead one to believe. Whether you check on the time by consulting the clock's LCD screen or by looking at a large red-light projection of the time beamed onto a wall or ceiling, you'll know it's accurate. That's because the clock is equipped with a radio receiver tuned to the U.S. Atomic Clock, and keeps time with split-second accuracy by automatically adjusting, if necessary, to the Atomic Clock's signals six times every 24 hours. From those signals, the 5-1/4-by-4-1/2-inch clock (2-1/2 inches thick) not only shows the precise time, but also displays the date and day, with automatic adjustment for daylight-saving time and leap year, according to the North American time zone for which the clock is set. (The day can be shown in English, Spanish, or French.)
The red-light projection makes it possible to check the time without squinting. If the clock is in battery mode (two AA batteries required but not included), pressing the clock's snooze bar will beam the time onto the ceiling for five seconds--and also backlight the LCD screen. If the clock is plugged into a wall socket with an AC adapter (included), the projection and backlighting will be available either for five seconds with the snooze bar or continuously if a continuous-beam control is set. As a backup, you can set the time, day, and date manually as well as automatically. --Fred Brack

User questions & answers
Question: | I've had this clock for a year now. The projection light will no longer stay permanently on - it used to. What's broken |
Answer: | I can only say that we have had about 5 different Oregon Scientific RM 313 PNA self setting projection clocks and after about 6 months the projection light goes out and we have to re order another one because we don't know what to do about it.we also need an answer |
Question: | once it rings, I can turn alarm off pushing alarm icon; but I can't deactivate the alarm pushing same icon. clock alarms at 5 a.m. every day. help |
Answer: | Pushing the alarm button once turns it off for the day. Pushing it twice turns the alarm off, period. (Look at the display & you can see the alarm is not set.) To set the alarm again, push the button. Look at the display, & the alarm will show as set. |
Question: | Can the projection light be repaired |
Answer: | I have no idea. I have had it several years and have never had a problem with it. My hunch is that it would cost more to repair it than to buy a new one, but that is just my quess. |
Question: | if the power goes off in the middle of the night will the alarm still go off in morning |
Answer: | Yes, presuming that the batteries are in and working. When the electrical power goes off, the ceiling projection light goes off but the clock, face illumination and alarm still work. |

Question: | I want to take a projection clock on a cruise, but need a battery-operated one to keep correct time. Will this one work |
Answer: | Your can use this as a battery operated clock but the projection won't work. |
Question: | Silly question- does 'atomic time' mean that this clock adjusts the time and resets itself, in the event of a power outage |
Answer: | Yes, it receives a radio signal and readjusts to match the atomic clock in Colorado. It also has batteries to backup the time so that you don't have to wait for the radio signal. The only time I ever notice it changing is when daylight savings time starts or ends. |
Question: | Is backlight adjustable or too bright? I want to avoid a clock that displays too bright at night |
Answer: | The Backlight is a button It manually turns on and then turns turns off within a couple seconds..It does not stay on. |
Question: | Is it really bright on the ceiling? Our regular digital clock now seems to light up the room |
Answer: | only the numbers are clearly shown. There is no light. I love this projection clock. |
