Question:	Is it big enough to carry reeds for bari sax that are 3 Strength
Answer:	No. The depth from the hinge to the front is just wide enough for a alto reed to fit. Also, the case is tampered such that the butt end of the reed must be at the hinge side or the class will not close. On the plus side it actually hold 12 clarinet reeds not 10.
Question:	Will the reed move around in the case if I put this reed case in my bag? I am worried since it doesn't have a strap or anything to hold the reed in pl
Answer:	There is a bit of cushioning that holds the reed in place. No need to worry about it shifting.

Answer:	With a new mouthpiece and a good reed, it actually sounds very good, and can be used on stage.Out of all the saxes I've purchased, this one equals the sound quality of a Taiwanese sax! (level up from standard Chinese saxes), and can sound better than saxes two or three times it's price.I think it's for intermediates, studio and live; or a nice sax for pro's who need a backup sax, or one that's cheap, or great for looks.Doesn't sound like a $2k sax, but I'd say it does come close to a $800-1200 sax.Reason this is cheap, is because there are no replacement parts, and no one really can fix these in case there are missing pieces.
Question:	Is this the same sax they use in school band? my daughter is joining and i'd like to know so i don't have to pay the schools high costs

Answer:	No. The one that comes with it, is okay for rehearsals and practice.You will want a new mouthpiece if you want it to sound louder and nicer, and a new neoprene neck strap for comfort.I use a Legere reed, which sounds really nice, and a $30 chinese metal mouthpiece. I'm really happy with the sound and the ease of playing.The provided mouthpiece is a little quiet for band play. You can use the strap for longer periods of time, if you have a cushioning between your neck and the strap (like a little towel, or high collar on your shirt)

Question:	This has 3 (actually 4) holes on the back of it whereas most mini saxophones only have 1. What are the extra holes for on the back
Answer:	I have no idea what the two small holes towards the far end (bell or trumpet) end of the instrument are for unless it is to help drain spit. The right hand hold thumb hole should be covered technically any time the right hand upper notes are being used except when making the F# in which case it is left open. I find this makes engaging the F# difficult ...it's a brain training thing. For the notes involving the upper or left hand, it doesn't appear to make a difference if the hole is used or not; however, I keep the right thumb in the closed or covered position simply to help support the instrument.
Question:	What size cane reeds can be used with this
Answer:	The instrument uses an alto sax mouthpiece, therefore also uses alto sax reeds. A medium reed strength like 2 or 2 1/2 should suffice.
Question:	How can I buy replacement reeds
Answer:	Make sure the reeds you buy are for the Alto sax, as reed sizes vary depending on the instrument. Reeds are also rated by a numbering system 1 through 5. The higher the number, the stronger (thicker) the reed. The higher the number, the more volume you can get from the instrument. A #1 reed is for real beginners and they're difficult to find. Most music teachers and professional players recommend a #2 or #2 1/2 reed, as these are better choices for a beginner. After learning how to get consistent tone from all registers (the lowest to highest note) with the #2 1/2, try going to a #3 reed. I've had good results from Rico and Vandoren reeds. When changing from a #2 1/2 to a #3, start with a 3 pack of reeds, so if you don't like it, or aren't ready for it, you won't have spent a bundle on a ten pack.
