During a power failure the top center button displays the time. To turn alarm off until the next day click on the hour or minute button. To turn alarm off completely use the button on the back.

Answer:	No, and changing the settings on the alarm was very confusing. Better clocks out there. Shop around, don’t buy this one
Question:	How do you detach the stand? I bought one and it seems stuck on there
Answer:	Yes, it does detach and you can hang it. Pull from the bottom and take one side off at a time very carefully.
Question:	How do you set an alarm , I need it to go off at a certain time but it’s staying at one time
Answer:	Press M button to enter setting mode Then press M button for 3 seconds to enter The sequence is Hour- than Minute- (In set up mode, the setting object is flashing) Adjust the time by the + or - buttons After setting press M ONCE to enter Turn on/off AL alarm Press - to select (there is AL symbol in display is ON & no AL symbol is OFF) Remark...when AL time is set, the AL alarm symbol flashes
Question:	How do you make sure it stops showing military time
Answer:	When you set the time and it show 12 hr make sure your using that setting, if it show the number 24hr or 21hr before you set the clock then it means it still in military time set mode
