• The stems are wired but not the petals or anything else. You definitely need a wire cutter too, they are thick wires.
• I can picture a cake with 2-3 layers (one on directly on top of the other, getting smaller as you go up of course & a simple flat frosting) with these beautiful vintage flowers tucked fully around the base of each layer. Answer:	As a floral designer I have worked a lot with artificial flowers. I would not partically recommend these for outside, they are pretty but fragile, they make beautiful indoor arrangements. Craft stores sell some flowers that hold up better in the elements. They are normally sold as seasonal flowers and are marked with as such, usually a tag saying water resistant. For outdoor use most other artificials are good for about one year because they fade in the sun. Do not use them under water sprinklers because the dye might run. I like to use flowers with small blooms that look more like wild flowers because they look more natural and some have water resistant leaves.
Question:	How tall should each vase be since the flowers are 9.84" tall
Answer:	it is 10 separate flowers. you have to attach the stems to the flowers. While most of them were perfect, one bunch I received had faulty stems, it was very hard to attach them to the flower head I had to cut them and mess with them to get them to work. But I did order several of theses in all different colors for wedding table decorations and they were beautiful and only one bunch came faulty.
