Answer:	Sometimes there can be an air bubble in the gas line. Turn your tank off, disconnect the gas line, then reconnect and try lighting the stove.

Answer:	Don’t know exactly but these have been around quite a while. Just replaced a 16 year old one of these with a new one. Good heater. Would definitely buy again.

Answer:	No, it cannot. It is designed for indoor use only.
Question:	can these lamps be installed inside a shower
Answer:	If the light is in a standard ceiling mount box I'd say yes. It connects just like a light fixture, 1 hot wire, 1 neutral. It is quite easy to install, I have replaced several.
Question:	Can a BR40 LED light be in one side and 250 Watt heat light in the other
Answer:	Unfortunately I have the 154. It gives of very little heat and only in a small area. It is VERY loud. I called the manufacturer, and they told me that the 154 is not meant to heat a room, but the area directly UNDER it. It is basically a space heater. I have a very small bathroom and it does not heat it at all. The VERY loud noise is unbearable. I put the phone up to the heater for the Company rep to hear and they told me it was defective and should be returned...they are warranteed for one year. I was told that the 157 is for heating the room, unlike the 154 which, again, is only for a small area.Both the 154 and the 157 look the same. VERY tinny and cheap looking. They look like they should be in a warehouse or garage. Unfortunately, they are the only company that I could find that makes Ceiling heaters so basically you are stuck. But make sure that you only get the 157...even though you might have a noisy one. As a friend who has one says, " the are the only ones on the market so why should they care about quality control"....

Answer:	No. The bulbs are very hot and would likely shatter if splashed. You can have them in a bathroom outside the shower or tub where they'd shine on you while your're toweling off, but not directly over the ub.

Answer:	No. A tag inside the unit says "max 250W" The red infrared 250w bulbs may give off more heat than the white bulbs.
Question:	What does the 2500- 5000 watt mean? Which is it? And is this unit noisy when blowing? thank you
Answer:	I would not recommend installing this anywhere that a drop of water could splash or spray on the hot bulbs which are exposed. better to install outside of the shower enclosure, in an area that remains dry and protected from overspray.
Question:	What has the increase to your electricity bill been like
Answer:	Yes, in fact it is wired for that and the instructions describe how to wire it both ways: with 2 heat lamps (controlled by one switch), or with one heat and one illumination lamp (using two separate switches). It has a tiny fan and that is designed to be wired so it runs when the heat lamp (either 1 or 2) is on.

Question:	Having an issue with the heat lamp not lighting up. Could it be the thermostat? All wiring appears fine
Answer:	This heater has multiple heater coils so you can use some or all of them. The more coils you jumper this for, the higher the wattage load up to 5000w. This is a 240 VAC space heater and does not need a white neutral wire at all (10/2 for example) It most certainly does need a green ground wire which is included in romex cables. To use the full 5000w at 240 VAC, you will draw over 20.8 amps of current. You are required, by code, to not load a breaker over 80% of it's rated value. So, here is the calculation you need to respect: 20.8 Amp / 80% = 26 amp minimum. Thus, you will need a 240V Dual-Pole 30 AMP breaker and at least 10 gauge THHN wire.
Question:	What is the difference between this model and the 9417dn? my the light portion of my 9417dn died, so this would be a swap out
Answer:	Yes it will work. There are instrructiions with the unit. I even asked the local Electrial Supply Company. They said, "no problem." To purchase a wall mount and wire was (as I remembered) pretty incidental, under $50 including wire, junction box, thermostat. But I personally would have someone familair with electrical wiring to oversee or even do it for me.....It was just easier to use the integrated thermostat for my purposes, than run wire to where it was easy to adjust when entering the shop. Heck, it's only 7-8 steps further, and I leave it alone 75% of the time anyhow. Besides, I can always wire it later when I get extra cash for that budget....
Question:	I have an old nutone 9417d that died... is this an exact replacement
Answer:	The wattage is the amount of heat produced by the unit. So 2500 watts is low heat and 5000 watts is twice the heat produced at 2500 watts and it would be high heat. The higher the wattage, the more area you can heat. When the blower comes on you can hear it but it is not loud.
Question:	Is this ic or non ic
Answer:	High! All electric heaters on 220 are not efficient. Just depending on how much you run it. I have a 22x22 garage that I heat just when I'm working in there, works great! But if you leave it on for a long period of time it can get expensive.

Answer:	I have a 20x30x10h shop. Lots of windows coverage. Non insulated floors above open front20x30x8 area. On a 30 degree day with help of a overhead fan it get up to 60. But must have a fan to move the air or I notice the area around heater warms up and shuts fan off early. Have heard about the temp wire being moved outside of heater may try that. Once the max temp you set is reached it does want to cycle on and off constantly. I just turn it off. It’s extremely nice to have. I haven’t seen a electric bill yet or used it more than a couple of hours aday. It’s definitely a 8 guage wire and 40 amp install. Im happy .
