Answer:	There is just one filter bag that fits over the motor, it has a rubber seal around at the top of it that fits to the canister top, not really washable, just shake it out and it is good to go again, I have had no issues doing this with mine and it works well, the filter is made with a canvas material, not paper or foam.

Answer:	I have a pellet stove with very fine ash and it is all contained in the unit. Suction is ok for pellet ash but do not know about a fireplace. This unit is only for cold ashes.

Answer:	I have not used it in a car only for the fireplace ash I am not so sure . It does say it is also a shop vac so it should work since it is small enough

Answer:	The capacity of the bucket is increased from 3 to 4 gallons, it includes the optional accessory kit (available for $25) and the hose is actually a usable length, versus the 4-5 ft hose on the other PowerSmith model. I own both models and for the price difference I'd buy the one with the extra filter, accessory kit and longer hose.
Question:	Is this ash vacuum a "dustless" vacuum

Answer:	Dear Amazon customer, yes,the inner hose is with whole metal,and the wand at the end is aluminum to provide anti-heat protection.
Question:	Is there any dust blowing out of the exhaust side when vacuuming cold ashes
Answer:	no ash or dust comes out the top vent but you will have to clean the filter and the cloth that wraps around the filter inside the canister periodically. otherwise it will clog up and won’t have the suction to vacuum the stove. i just use my air compressor every other time i clean my stove out. hope that helps
Question:	are filter unavailable for sale? A review said they were impossible to find for sale after the fact
Answer:	You don't need a new filter once the first one gets dirty. I learned that from an HONEST mechanic in MN. He just used an air compressor and blew the dust and dirt from my air filter on the car. Why spend money you don't need to spend, just blow out the "dirty" one.
Question:	Is this pretty loud when the vacuum is on
Answer:	Yes it is pretty noisy. The real issue though is that the vacuum barely sucks. I would not recommend this product.

Answer:	i find this vac to be very professionally built, I am a retired ex Brick, Block Stone Mason. This Tack life vac does a very nice clean up o the cold ash, I would not recommend any vac for hot ash or to warm of ash. I prefer to use the non-woven filter over the main filter to protect it from fine particles of soot from escaping back into my home. I have to clean it more often but I would rather not take chance having the wife kick my butt for accidentally sooting up her clean house. Good Luck P.S. Hope I was helpfull.
