Answer:	Do you have another remote light fixture in the house? That was our issue. We had to change the frequency so the remotes didn’t work on both fans.

Answer:	1,2,and 3 are the wires to the speed levels. L is the LOAD, typically the black wire. Look at where your wires were delegated in the old switch and transfer one at a time to the new one.

Answer:	If it is a standard 12 volt battery chrger, yes. Be prepared to do some serious grinding on the switch bodt because the switch shaft doesn't fit the switch. The switch is a 3 pole unit--a lot of overkill for what you need.
Question:	What retains the wires in their contacts? I don't see in the pictures any way to clamp the wires

Answer:	We purchased 1 fan in 2017 and loved it so much that we purchased another in 2018. The light on the first one stayed on but wasn't distracting. The 2018 model of the same fan was slightly updated and the light does shut off after a short time. We love both fans since they both work incredibly cooling whole rooms instead of just one area.
