Question:	Can you download apps to this computer
Answer:	Yes, Windows apps. If you haven't already, I wouldn't purchase this laptop. The Windows 10 that came installed was so outdated, it wasn't compatible with the hardware. When I got mine out of the box, the first problem was that the system wouldn't recognize the DVD drive. I had to send it in to Dell to have them replace it (after hours on the phone with Dell tech support trying to figure out). When I got it back, it wouldn't complete a Windows 'Restart'. The screen would go black and just hang. This prevented Dell firmware and bios (outdated) from being able to be updated, because the updates required a restart to be performed. I had to send it in to Dell again because Dell tech support again couldn't figure it out after hours on the phone. Dell said they replaced the main board and "tested all the hardware thoroughly", but when they sent it back to me, it still had the exact same problem. Wouldn't do a Windows Restart. You'd think they might have confirmed the problem corrected before sending it back to me. Reluctantly, I got on the phone with Dell again, and they said I would need to send it in again to have the hard drive replaced. Waiting for Fedex to deliver the box to send it back to Dell yet again, I finally figured out on my own that I needed to have Windows complete all available Windows 10 updates. After doing this, 'Restart' started functioning correctly, and I was able to perform the needed Dell firmware and BIOS updates. The laptop now finally works as it should. During all that time dealing Dell tech support, needing a working laptop, I went to Walmart and bought an inexpensive HP that has been working just fine, running Windows 10 from the minute I got it home. The Dell... well, it's sitting off to the side, as a back up if I should have any problems with the HP.
