Question:	In auto mode will the fan turn off when the desired temperature is reached? That is a big feature I am looking for
Answer:	This unit has 3 options available to you. AC, FAN, & DEHUMIDIFIER.
Question:	if unit loses power while on will it turn back on
Answer:	No, but the compressor does stop running until the room temp warms up to the temp you set. Then compressor starts running again to cool the room. It will cycle this way indefinately and only turn off if you turn off the power, or the timer was set to turn off, or if there's a power outage.
Question:	Does this require to be drained through a window or can you empty the water tank

Question:	which way should you let the air flow through it? Does the shiny side face in with the air entering the dull side and coming out the shiny side
Answer:	Forgive the cheesy analogy... Its like the a fish filter, with the exception of air instead of water, obviously... The air is pulled from outside and forced through the machine. You want the shiny side facing YOU when putting it in. Ths way when the air is forcing through the soft side is filtering the air and the shiny side stops "debri" from being blown in to your breathing atmosphere.

Question:	Just got 3M ac filters for window acs, which have the removable screen filter. I have to cut to fit, but how do I then attach to the ac screen filter
Answer:	The easy way is with 3m 2'' 'blue' painters' masking tape. Fold it over both sides-it holds tightly enough so you can slide the filter frame back in and is easily removed when you need to clean or replace the filter.
Question:	Is anyone using this on vent registers for a central HVAC system? (Not on the intake, but on the return registers in the floor throughout home
Answer:	Yes, I have done this in my work area and after 3 filters over ~2 years, I can tell you that they DEFINITELY do trap all kinds of nasty stuff that may be in the A/C air stream. How do I know? Because mine get all dark after about 6-8 months and have to be replaced. The air (ostensibly) only travels outward - so one would assume that it traps what was in the "clean" air output. I suspected mold ... that's why I got this (and others). They all work and they all got filthy over time - from the inside out. I figure or about 8 bucks, it's worth a try. I didn't not trust our older air ducts to be all that clear of mold. I mounted mine between the registers (removed them) and the actual wall duct, then re-installed the registers OVER the filters. Looks a bit ugly, but clean air matters more to me than looks. You can always trim around the edges.
