disconnect + turn off your humidifier tank: fill the tank with [ 1cup] of water and add [1 cup] of [bleach/undiluted White vinegar].

tank: screw cap back on and let sit for approximately 20 minutes.

tank: after the 20 minutes Remove any residue or build-up by gently shaking the mixture back and forth.

base: pour a [generous amount] of [undiluted White vinegar] into the base of your cool mist Humidifier.

base: let sit for 20 minutes. Do not submerge the base into water.

Answer:	I am not sure what insurance you have. If it is medically necessary for your health the doctor may write a request for you to own one. I believe with a HSA you can save money and use it towards anything that is considered medically necessary. I know there are some insurance companies that cover specific things and equipment, but humidifiers I am not sure about.I hope this helps.
Question:	Can I use essential oils with it
Answer:	Are you using fresh water each day? I've had this for a month or so and haven't notched that.. I rinse it out and put fresh water in it each night, and have given it a good clean once a a week. I use young living thieves cleaner.. I spray the inside and use a small scrub brush and spray with the kitchen faucet sprayer.

Answer:	I believe these are made by Nordicware? I would contact the Manufacturer since there is no information on the package regarding heat resistance. I use this as a whisk, and for gravy I use a stainless steel gravy spring.

Question:	What kind of batteries?? Is there an outlet plug too
Answer:	No beveled edge. Nice strong handle. But the metal spatula got all scratched up after a few uses. I had a really old one that never scratched, so the metal must be cheaper. Still, it's a perfect size!
Question:	Can you turn the light off on this unit
Answer:	It is out in my 5th wheeler right now but if memory serves me correctly, the blade is about 2.5" wide and approx 4.5" long -- it is perfect for tiny hands but don't count on turning a large amount of food in a skillet with it -- I have medium size hands and it is almost too small. I plan on giving it to my Mom when I see her next but it is built well and wish it was bigger for me.
Question:	Is there a trick to getting it not to leak? Mine is on a flat surface and not overfilled, but leaks where the storage tank meets the base
Answer:	I do not put mine in the dishwasher.  Manufacturer does not recommend it to be put in the dishwasher. I wash it by hand, I like to clean between each individual fork spike.
Question:	Anyone know why my low water light keeps coming on and the humidifier part stops? It has plenty of water in it
Answer:	Yes, I have used it for mixing cookie batter many times. For large batches of very stiff batter, you may find it easier to use a large mixing spoon. I use my fork whisk almost daily. Great item!
