Answer:	The manual does not specify. The WiFi hub is well protected in the top part of the fan where it is anchored to the ceiling, and I so, I presume it can used outside. Might want to call the company or a dealer to find out exactly.

Answer:	Yes. It comes with a remote that controls fan, light and speed etc. It has to be mated to the fan as per instructions in the manual, right after installing the fan. The light is soft LED and is not daylight LED. Overall, it is a very nice fan. Hope this helps.

Question:	Can the Viro silver pre-filter just be washed? as they are very expensive
Answer:	A probable reason for no CADR number on this item is that it's claims are outrageous, and a CADR number would show how poor it really is. (Clean Air Delivery Rate is based on the percentage of particles removed by the air filter times its flow rate, and tells you much more about performance than CFM will. You can have High CFM, but lousy filtration, and thus a low CADR) Airflow of this unit is 150 CFM, yet they claim it will clean 3700 square feet. If the room was only 1 foot high, and ignoring the poor airflow in a 1 foot high room, it would take 24 minutes for the 3700 Cubic feet of air to pass through the filter. So, just over 2 air exchanges per hour. Less than the 4 air exchanges you'd like to have. In a normal 8 foot high room, it would take would take 197 minutes for one air exchange. Over 3 hours just to have the air pass through the filter once. Seeing that glaring error, makes me nervous about any of the claims.
