Question:	Where do you get the filters
Answer:	Yes it only releases water to a certain level. Has a spring loaded cap that dispenses as needed. There is a wicking filter that has to be replaced occasionally. It has a humidity control that you set for your comfort level.

Answer:	Holds one bottle full which is 2-1/2 gallons. Unless it is really cold out, one bottle lasts 24 hours. Best is to plan filling it up first thing in the morning and that will last 24 hours. When it is mild out (75 ° in KC today) one bottle will last 2 days.

Answer:	I live in the desert so on "Low" I would have to fill it twice a day, on "High" I would have to fill it 3 times a day.

Answer:	Sort of hard to say - since it's subjective. I keep mine outside my bedroom door - on the first speed - and it doesn't bother me at all. Sort of just a low fan sound - about the same as the heat kicking on and off. I don't notice it at all. However, all of the other speeds, in my opinion, are very loud. It goes up to 5 - and that sounds like a 747 idling. I guess if you had it in some remote location and wanted to crank it up, the higher speeds would work. I live in a 1200 sq ft townhome and, set at 45, it keep the upstairs (where it is) at about 45% and the downstairs at about 35%. Perfect for me. I'm really happy with it. No more shocking all the pets with static electricity!

Answer:	Are you using fresh water each day? I've had this for a month or so and haven't notched that.. I rinse it out and put fresh water in it each night, and have given it a good clean once a a week. I use young living thieves cleaner.. I spray the inside and use a small scrub brush and spray with the kitchen faucet sprayer.

Question:	Will this make the carpet wet? I've had humidifiers in the past that soaked the carpet and caused issues
Answer:	I do not believe this will make your carpets wet. I've been using mine every night for the past couple of weeks, and I've noticed no accumulation of moisture on or near the unit. I was especially concerned with potential damage to the wood on my bedside table, but I have seen none. I also have brand new carpet in the room, and there has been no moisture accumulation there either. I have the unit sitting on the edge of my bedside table; so close to my bed that the vapor falls down on my face, pillow, and blankets all night long. There has been no build up of moisture on anything, and I'm breathing better than I ever have.
Question:	Where did you place the unit? Since the mist floats downwards, I'm afraid it will ruin my nightstand
Answer:	I put it on my desk at work and actually I am planning to purchase another one for my bedroom. As the air circulates in the room from movement or when the furnace kicks on, the steam flow moves in all directions of course. When no movement, it does goes up but is very moist. I would put something under it for sure. It is very quiet but it is not a super fine mist and feels very moist when you put your hand over it. I plan to put mine on a little table with a plastic sheet just under the table to protect the carpet from dampness just in case. It may not be necessary but I have a thick wool area rug that I don't want to get damp.

Answer:	Yes, the night light can be turned off. Although, the power button is back-lit with an LED light that is kinda bright and does not have an off switch (except when the machine's off). It isn't too bad, though. I'm an extremely light/distractable sleeper and I'm able to sleep with the button light on.
Question:	Why does your info say 4.5L when the box said .5 gallon? That's a huge difference
Answer:	The .5 gallons that is stated on the box is the tank capacity. The 4.5L is the output in a 24 hour period.

Answer:	Great question!! And the cleaning instructions ignore that part. So I did a little experiment. I tapped off the hole on the top, poured vinegar down the hole and voila!! I ran hot water down the hole to flush off all the remaining mineral build up. So, that worked for me....I'll bet your home is spotless!!

Answer:	I use tap water and we have hard water. I think its better to use distilled water which we did at first but it took a gallon at a time and lasted for the night and then we had to refill. We stopped because its unnecessary plastic and spending extra money. I just clean the humidifier more often so there isn't any hard water buildup

disconnect + turn off your humidifier tank: fill the tank with [ 1cup] of water and add [1 cup] of [bleach/undiluted White vinegar].

tank: screw cap back on and let sit for approximately 20 minutes.

tank: after the 20 minutes Remove any residue or build-up by gently shaking the mixture back and forth.

base: pour a [generous amount] of [undiluted White vinegar] into the base of your cool mist Humidifier.
