Question:	Can you use the fan without the thermostat feature? I don't want it going on and off all night long
Answer:	I think the other replies were with older models? I just purchased this model and there's no issue with opting out of the thermostat feature. As noted in the instructions, to get to continous air flow, you just keep clicking the button through the modes (first you click throught the various thermostat temperatures, and then you get to "high" or "low" as options. If you click high or low either one will stay on continously. Both options are extremely quiet. It sounds like the person who had a louid nose on the low setting had a defective fan.
Question:	I want to use this in a stand-alone one room dance studio with only one window. If it's very hot outside, will this really keep it cool inside
Answer:	It’s not an AC unit so it will only be as cool (or slightly less hot) as the air from the source. That being said you could use this fan on Exhaust to suck hot air out and use a tower fan to create a breeze in the room. But to cool a room on a 90+ degree day, I’d recommend a window AC. This fan will circulate air tho, so it’s not a bad place to start.
Question:	I need the CFM and decibel (noise) ratings on this fan. These are my two most crucial criteria, but no one shows them
Answer:	This is our second window fan. I don't remember what brand/model etc our first fan was, but the CFM WAS WAY higher than this Holmes fan. My assumption is by lowering the maximum fan speed & thus drastically lower the CFM, they can advertise the fan as being quieter and using less energy. ***We have used this fan for 2 years and we DO NOT recommend it if you are looking for a high CFM (volume) fan***

Answer:	I’ve been using an older version of this fan for about 20, yup, 20 years. I use it in a garage studio. Sometimes it runs for months 24/7. It’s slowing down, tons of dirt and mysterious things on it. While it is exhaling i spray wd30 on it till it speeds up again, lol. I have absolutely punished this fan. But like I said, I run it all year, summer and winter. One side died about 4 years ago, but the other is running as we speak. The reason I saw this is because I was looking to see if they still made it. Yay they do; and it is very quiet. Next paycheck I’m getting a new one. I love the intake exhaust function,brilliant! So happy they’re still available. Can’t go wrong, and not a lot of money.

Answer:	The cord comes out the middle in a small gap and can either direction. This is so you can reverse the fan. So either way you have the fan installed (intake or outtake). The cord can come inside or outside if you wish.

Answer:	I might not be answering your question, but, the Comfort Zone Reversible Twin Window Fan has three features. 1. It cools; it brings fresh air in. 2. It Exhausts; it removes stale air from the room. 3. It circulates; it operates fans in opposing directions creating air circulation and room ventilation. I used it a couple of times this spring and all features work as advertised. I am, however, waiting for our (state of Georgia) extremely hot and humid weather to see if it will cool my bedroom to my liking; but, with this unusual cool weather we've been having, it's taking longer to really tell if my fan will do the main job I purchased it to do. I will post an update once our temps reach over 100 degrees. I hope this helps you.

Answer:	The actual battery life of the doorbell depends on the number of wakeups and accesses per day and of course, the recording time will also matter. Usually, in standby mode, it can last for over 3 months(10 times wake-up per day). And it can wake up at least 1000 times when it is fully charged. Besides, as this product uses PIR thermal detection, there are two triggering principles: 1) when there is a temperature difference, 2) when there is a moving object. So we recommend not to place the doorbell too close to the street or the crowds, in order to avoid unnecessary wake-ups due to the temperature differences caused by the vehicles or personnel passing. *Please install the doorbell camera in a place that is away from direct sunlight or street lights for better performance.

Answer:	Yes, it fits nicely in the vertical position in your window. That's how I use mine.
Question:	What is the cfm rating
Answer:	The CFM on High is approximately 560 and on low it is approximately 396.
Question:	how much air does this move
Answer:	It moves air in pretty good, but of the three I purchased one did not work at all and the other two do not reverse. They only blow air in. It is hot where I live so I ended up putting them in facing out.
Question:	Is the fans motor waterproof? Any issues using it on rainy days
Answer:	I've never removed my fans, even in full-on thunder storms. They're fine. Some of my older fans were getting so grungy that I even decided to risk spraying them off in the shower (which you're clearly not supposed to do). So I unplugged them, stuffed them in the shower, hosed them off, and let them completely dry for a couple of days. They work fine. So while I'm not sure they're officially "waterproof" in any way, they are certainly moisture resistant.

Question:	What are the blades made out of
Answer:	With the pleated section and expansion panel removed, the fan measures 24" wide. You will need to get past the 23" wide inner dimension of your window. Perhaps you can angle it in one side first then square it up, but I doubt it since your depth is so shallow. If you are desperate to get a fan to fit, you could cut away 1/2" of the main housing on each side with a hacksaw. I hope this helps.
Question:	Are the clips that hold the cover in place on both sides of the fan
Answer:	Our fan fits with the screen. We removed the screen once, just to see if it would be better. The fan sucked little mosquitoes and other flying things into the room and my bed was covered with dead bugs! My advice is to LEAVE THE SCREEN IN!!
Question:	Are the motors on this unit sealed to resist water from entering and causing damage to the unit or electrical shock
Answer:	Yes, it's designed for either horizontal or vertical use. We use it vertically (without the adjustable side panels). Fits snugly in the window and it works great! Very quiet fan too.
Question:	Will this fan definitely fit into a 22.5" opening? This is a small window, and that's all the space I have
Answer:	My fan just just burned out at less than 5 months. My electricity specialist/roommate has not had success in fixing. I did not buy the in surance!! Has anyone had luck with contacting the company?
