Answer:	There is a sensor above the basket. The machine stops when the ice blocks the sensor and starts again as soon as the sensor is cleared

Answer:	I am on my 3rd one and ALL 3 have done this. The 1st one lasted a whole 2 weeks....the 2nd one lasted about 2.5 weeks and the 3rd one just started doing this about a week ago. The 2rd one lasted longer about 2 months. NOT WORTH THE MONEY, for it to only last 2 months.

Answer:	Water is added into the front compartment of the unit from the opening in the top. There is a Min & Max fill line under the ice basket.
Question:	Is this mix frozen or shelf stable
Answer:	We just got our ice maker yesterday. We cleaned everything and today made our first ice. It took over an hour to make one basket. We needed more ice so we started the 2nd batch and nothing. We turned it off and unplugged it waited a few minutes plugged it in and started it over. It runs and runs but no ice. We can see a small amount of frozen water in the top by the turning wheel but it is not making ice. Just runs.
Question:	How many servings does this make
Answer:	I have owned this machine for 2 days. I previously owned the Opal. I can say that this is definitely much louder than the Opal but it produces about twice as much ice in the same amount of time as the Opal. I tested with a decibel meter app. Standing next to the machine - 58 dB, standing 10 feet away - 54 dB, standing 20 feet away - 49 dB.
