Answer:	I think these work for most vehicle wheel wells, there is actually 12 different sizes that cover holes 6.3mm to 10mm. There are 20 pieces of each size/type. Pretty sure that this kit will have the sizes you are looking for, and for $12 that’s a hell of a lot better than buying from an auto parts store that will charge you $3-5 just for a 2 pack.

Answer:	You can, however, with just 200 CFM of air movement you may want to just keep it on full. The motor will make more humming noise if you use a speed controller to decrease speed. I found it makes less noise on full than it does if you decrease the speed which increases motor hum noise considerably.
Question:	Is my fan defective? For such a small fan it is extremely loud
Answer:	Use light weight clipper oil on the moter behind fan blades, also use tape to hold to pieces together after twisting back together. I own three need to add oil to all. All have been running non stop for over 6 months.

Answer:	It's been a while since I installed this, but I believe it's mounted via velcro (I modified it via magnets to have a stronger bond to the sheet metal of the gas insert), so as long as this blower will fit under your gas insert and your blower input vent (that goes over the back and out the top of the insert) is in the back of the insert, it should work. Hopefully the dimensions of this blower are listed on the page.
Question:	What is the pivoting angle of this fan? Will it blow almost straight up
Answer:	I tried emailing the person, but got no response. You can find the original manufacturer's instructions online. I don't know if Amazon will allow me to post this link: http://www.desatech.com/manuals/Fireplaces/model_V42N_manual_108861-01F.pdfGo to page 15 and it will give you an idea. The reason people don't have (detailed) instructions is that Desa International has been out of business since ~2008, so everything is aftermarket and that's why you can't call Desa for help or purchase an official blower from Desa. There are other aftermarket sellers out there that sell this for twice as much, but most likely it's the same thing as this, but may have instructions and a 1-year warranty.Also, I think some simplistic instructions are listed on this product's page. In any case, if you or someone you know knows a little about electrical circuits, you should be able to get this hooked up without any trouble.

Answer:	It could be the fiber washers need replacing. The fan can be easily disassembled. I like to use 3 in 1 oil on all metal contact parts (sparingly). Just like any machine, these need proper maintenance. Be sure to DISCONNECT POWER before doing anything.

Answer:	Well, they aren't identical at all, the have different look. The st-310A has wider side intake grills, allowing the maximum amount of air flowing in and pushing it out of a bigger snout, which covers a longer area. But the Stanley 655704 feels more rugged and really heavy duty compared to the st-310A.

Question:	Will this fit on my 2004 Yukon Denali
Answer:	No instructions came with it due to it being somewhat universal. Although, the installation is fairly easy. In my fireplace, I put the fan in the very back with the mounting holes to the back. I bought some self tapping screws and with a little bit of pain, got them in. I was able to use a flexible screwdriver extension with one arm holding pressure at the screw and turning the handle with the other hand. As for the cables, it was pretty straight forward. I hooked it up prior to installation without the thermometer to ensure it worked, and then the thermometer goes inline with one of the leads. I placed the magnetic thermometer directly under the fire on the top side of the bottom opening. I hope that makes sense and helps. I will try to post pics of it soon!
Question:	Do you have a (rear) blower for a 2005 tahoe lt? part
Answer:	This unit is a blower for vent-free fireplace, not stove, and it mounts underneath creating airflow behind and out the top over the fireplace itself. If it fits something else, I'm not aware of it. Good luck.

Answer:	No. It's supposed to be hard wired to the appliance. I put it in my corn stove and it has been working perfectly.

Answer:	It's not recommended for the wood stove, because its motor is inside the air stream, it's too hot for the standard motor. For the wood stove, we use the blower which the motor is outside the air stream.

Answer:	The fan motor is limited to about 120 degrees of ambient air temperature and shut down on high temperature above that.

Answer:	No, this fan's motor is not sealed or protected from the weather.

Answer:	No.If you are in an apartment and the mean landlady says no to a window mounted AC, for fear it will fall from the window and crush some poor clown on the street, this isn't a bad substitute. You will get by on 1/2 or 3/4 speed. If you get up to make a sandwich, you do notice the difference right away but feel better back in front of it. But no, no remote and it doesn't sweep.

Answer:	You can angle it up or down, but it does not rotate. Honestly, this is better than the rotating fans that I have bought because it blows much cooler. I live in Las Vegas and bought 6 rotating fans for each room because it gets so hot out here; air can not cool down the house alone. I ended up tossing the rotating fans on the corner on trash day. I even had a 3 fan in one thing that cost me over $100. I replaced them all with these fans because these fans blow really well. I have to keep them on low and still get cold. I keep them facing me in my loft, family room, and living room. They get loud but I just turn the television up a little higher and they lull out any noise when we are asleep. I even sent one to my elderly mother because this fan packs a lot of bang for the buck.
