Answer:	We find that we aren’t bothered by it in the same room as us if it is on a setting of 2 or less. We generally put it an auto mode, though, so it can go higher if the air quality requires it. We’ve been impressed how it turns up higher aa needed. It correlates to activities in our house that we’d expect to increase particle counts. Turbo mode can be heard in an adjoining room if doors are open. It sounds like some of our fans. In an adjoining room, we aren’t bothered by turbo mode if the tv is on or people are talking. It’s quite noticeable though when the house is quiet and seems too loud when the house is otherwise quiet. We’ve been happy with these machines as we’ve seen plenty of evidence they work on the filters. I’ve also tested them with a particle counter.

Answer:	Because a 13x13 room that's your cleaning the air in will not be empty you will have thinks taking up airspace like bed dressers ect.. it also does not ask how tall the ceilings in the room are its speculation on a typical room
