Answer:	I find this unit noise compared to the MA25. This thing really needs a 4th speed. my results 3 feet away. Speed 1 - 35db, Speed 2 -44db, speed 3 - 48db. that said it does move a lot of air, you can clearly feel the breeze 15 feet away. If you have a larger room and don't mind the noise its fine. For smaller rooms go with the MA25 its nearly inaudible at lowest speed, very quiet at speed 2 and not bad at highest. It doesn't move nearly as much air so keep that in mind.

Answer:	Never tried it, but I have never had good success with wood chips, for me it would die out after 30 minutes. Using pellets the smoke will last 4-5 hrs. Highly recommend using this smoker tube.
