Answer:	To me, nothing protects the motor. There is a grill, but you still have to vacuum it or take it apart to clean it. I have two of these and both don’t work. They are out of warranty and the company DOES NOT provide any kind of technical support after the warranty ends. To me, it’s not worth the gamble to buy one. They don’t last long.
Question:	Would this machine be effective to remove smoke from paper, books, and pictures following a house fire
Answer:	definitely, because, at least in mine, the fan is activated by the ionizer knob, so if it is turned to off, you have no fan. then you can choose to turn the O3 knob to put ozone into the air. i have my unit sitting up high with a ceiling fan on to circulate the ions and (when on) O3. there is a little fan inside, but it isn't strong, and ozone nor ions will move up on their own. if you don't have a ceiling fan to circulate air, position a standing fan blowing upward below the unit to get the ozonator output circulating all the way to the ceiling. and around the room. you know the output is going to come down, so this way you cover the enture room. the molecules and ions aren't going to wander around on their own.

Answer:	It does a good job with cigar and cigarettes. But, it doesn't absorb the smoke like the fans and cigar lounges do. Unfortunately, the smoke will get into your walls and ceilings after time. But if you already smoke at home, run the fan when doing so.

Answer:	Hi! It is not recommended to use this device when you are in the house. When you leave, you can turn the generator on. The standard time to wait is 30 mins but, if you are concerned about specific groups like kids or elderly, they might be more inherently sensitive so you'd have to add a few mins more for them. Ozone is generated by Corona Discharge (most common type) or Ultraviolet Light. Ozone generators deodorize, disinfect, kill or remove dangerous or irritating airborne particles in indoor environments. However, ozone is a toxic gas with very different properties to oxygen. Whether it is a pure form or mixed with other chemicals, ozone can be harmful to health. That's why we strongly recommend the use of ozone generators in unoccupied space with the right ozone output and time duration depending on the size of an area. I hope this information helps! Question:	Can you turn the ozone off but leave the ionizer on
Answer:	They only have a CE mark. They are well constructed. I first used one to eliminate a foul odor from a bank repossessed house. Took multiple cycles but it worked well.
