Answer:	As Ms. Dellinger noted, you can remove the mineral deposits with a weak acid. I've used 1 cup vinegar to a gallon of water, and soaked for a few hours, (until it's no longer crusty). If it's left to soak too long, (overnight) it will lose the ability to stand in a cylinder shape and collapse into the unit, rendering it unfit for use. Cleaning appears to give the filter usability for another week or so in my application. New filters generally last three to four weeks. So, the answer to: if it can be cleaned - sort of. I don't count on it as a general rule.

Put it back when it's dry and that's all done. 2. Keep the unit in a cool and dry space when it's in storage. 3. The ozone plate is meant to be used for years. Only change the plate when the blue light on it gets much weaker than before and you could smell the ozone is much less as well. Answer:	NO. OZONE is extremely harmful for your lungs and in a worst case scenario kill you. Ozone is extremely dangerous and though it is a powerful odor eliminator it should be used in an unoccupied area, and the ozone should be given anywhere from 30 mins to 2hrs to clear and break down into oxygen before you renenter the area being treated.

Make sure that all passage ways and areas you are wanting to treat are open and accessible to the ozone. As for Pests, they generally do not like concentrated O3 in their environment and will typically vacate the area. If they cannot leave but remain in a high level of ozone for an extended period, it will likely kill them. All interior doors ways and passageways should be open so the ozone can easily migrate throughout the entire home. Having your window air conditioning unit on low is fine. The ideal temperature range for treatment should be between 65-75'F. The Villa 1000 is capable of treating up to 4,000 square feet / 40,000 cubic feet. Question:	I have read ozone can degrade rubber, window seals and be harmful to leather and electronics. After how many uses would this occur if at all
Answer:	The number of uses before problems occur cannot necessarily be predicted because of all the variables in play. What you said about rubber, leather, and electronics is true. Ozone (O3) will readily oxidize (think of corrosion) susceptible materials and can start the break down of certain molecular chemical bonds. Over time, this can include corroding certain metals such as brass or copper and the surface hardening of compounds such as petroleum based rubber. In most cases, occasional exposures to ozone will do no more damage to metals than being around the salt laden air of an ocean breeze, but it still causes added corrosion. Rubber products, depending on their chemical makeup, may over time start to harden similar to how a car’s windshield wiper blades will harden when exposed to direct sunlight over time. Multiple rubber treatment dressings and related products are available to help preserve rubber products from superficial deterioration. A word of caution here: Some petroleum based products continue their volatile properties (releasing gasses and vapors) long after being manufactured. These gasses and vapors usually react with ozone and this reaction and it’s outcome can vary between even identical products based on many factors. Ozone can cause the appearance of premature aging for leather, although so too can very dry air. Most leather can be fully protected from ozone by simply using whatever product(s) the manufacturer recommends for leather maintenance, such as Chamberlains Leather Milk. Answer:	I sleep with the fan on all night and then I have a dog that sits in the same room most of the day so I leave it on all day for him. So I would say I've had this fan running constantly with maybe 15-20 min. breaks per 24 hrs. Have never had a problem with it. This is really my most favorite fan I've ever bought.
