If your grow room has exit air ventilation, attaching this to the outbound air would work better than in the grow room or space itself. I don't use this device for the same purpose as you, but ozone when used properly is a better sterilizer or air scrubber than even concentrated pool bleach. After retiring from Army aviation, I bought a home in a state with high humidity and black mold in A/C's plenum is a problem, I have a commercial ozone generator built into the A/C and this Cap ozone generator I use to sterilize my vehicle. I shuttle cancer patients as a volunteer, and keeping my vehicle germ free for them is life or death. So after a days driving, I use this . I also take big garbage bags and throw in my shoes or anything with a funk to it, and blow in ozone, turn the ozone off, and in 20-30 minutes the ozone reverts back to oxygen. Answer:	The smell of fresh linen, I remember my grandmother towels smell like that as she dry them outdoors on a sunny days. Answer:	I had to call the company to figure out a few things like the charging light on the unit that doesn't work, you use the one light on the power cord to tell when its fully charged. Also to change the droplet adapters for different droplet sizes.

Answer:	the only time something can go wrong is if the nozzle is changed and the rubber ring is not properly re insert its an easy fix - just re align the rubber ring and you will not have any issues. the unit has the proper nozzle pre installed when its shipped and should really be changed - the nozzle that is pre installed is 10 um and is best for disinfecting . if the nozzle is not replaced the unit will never malfunction

All interior doors ways and passageways should be open so the ozone can easily migrate throughout the entire home. Having your window air conditioning unit on low is fine. Question:	I have read ozone can degrade rubber, window seals and be harmful to leather and electronics. After how many uses would this occur if at all
Answer:	The number of uses before problems occur cannot necessarily be predicted because of all the variables in play. What you said about rubber, leather, and electronics is true. Ozone (O3) will readily oxidize (think of corrosion) susceptible materials and can start the break down of certain molecular chemical bonds. Over time, this can include corroding certain metals such as brass or copper and the surface hardening of compounds such as petroleum based rubber. In most cases, occasional exposures to ozone will do no more damage to metals than being around the salt laden air of an ocean breeze, but it still causes added corrosion. Rubber products, depending on their chemical makeup, may over time start to harden similar to how a car’s windshield wiper blades will harden when exposed to direct sunlight over time. Multiple rubber treatment dressings and related products are available to help preserve rubber products from superficial deterioration. A word of caution here: Some petroleum based products continue their volatile properties (releasing gasses and vapors) long after being manufactured. These gasses and vapors usually react with ozone and this reaction and it’s outcome can vary between even identical products based on many factors. Ozone can cause the appearance of premature aging for leather, although so too can very dry air. Most leather can be fully protected from ozone by simply using whatever product(s) the manufacturer recommends for leather maintenance, such as Chamberlains Leather Milk. As a rule of thumb, most electronic devices should NOT be exposed to ozone because their internal components and conductors can be highly susceptible to ozone accelerated corrosion. The Ozone Output dial is normally set in the "High" range. Set the Timer dial depending on the level of odors and the size of the space. See suggested treatment times in owner manual.

Hold position: For continuous treatment, turn Timer dial to the "Hold" position.

Answer:	I just got this yesterday, it does have the plastic/chemical smell also. I talked to Holmes support and they said that it could take up to 2 weeks for the smell to wear off. I'm inclined to believe them based on other plastic products like this I've purchased. I'm going to take the filter out and run it on low in a separate room for a few hours a day and see if that speeds the process up.
