Answer:	Yes. Mine goes into an empty dishwashing liquid bottle. There is hardly any condensation water going into mine but you would not want water stains on your floor. Your other option would be to elevate your unit on a box, place a dish under the bottom plug and open the plug.

Answer:	I've never, ever heard of a warranty becoming void because a window or through-wall air conditioner wasn't installed by the seller. Freidrich does also make Ductless Split systems, and I CAN imagine the possibility of the warranty being void if a homeowner installs it, as it requires professional installation. (Mostly the evacuation and charging process, which needs to be done precisely or component failure could occur)

Answer:	The one I have has vents along the sides of it to allow air into the unit. If the wall was say 6" thick it would block nearly the entire side vent, if the wall was say 4" thick it would block approximately half the vents lengthwise. I think you would have a problem with the unit unless the vents are open to the air.

Answer:	You can contact the vendor, Frigidaire, they sell parts. I have not had great luck ordering accessories from them. The other option is to measure the diameter of the hose and buy the length you need here or at Home Depot or Lowe's. Answer:	This casement AC fits into a horizontal sliding window. It has a piece of white foam that fits on the top to seal the casement vertically. There is smaller foam surrounding the AC so when you close the sliding window onto the AC, the window is sealed. A lot of times this is not perfect. I have in the past cut 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch plywood for the topand used a jam stick on the side between the window frame and the AC to give a snug fit. This does come with a complete install kit with instructions.

Answer:	I read somewhere not to add anything other than water to the water tank. The unit is made by Intertek. Maybe their website has more information. Having said that, I put ice in the water tank to cool our room faster. We absolutely love this unit.
Question:	Only two weeks in use and the machine releases a horrible smell of mold, despite my regularly cleaning the tank. What can I do
Answer:	Hello, Thank you for contacting NewAir, I apologize for the experience that you are facing but I am more than happy to assist with your issue! We recommend a half-and-half compound. The first half of the mix is clean water. As for the second, lemon juice or citric acid are both excellent mold killers. Clean and dry the tank with this cleansing agent. Pay special attention to the drying stage, for you're trying to get rid of the damp, not create more. Treat the hoses and cooling pads with the same mix, then you should use a damp cloth to wipe away any residue. Dry everything. By the way, a half-and-half vinegar and water substitute also works. Just don't use the mix on the pads, not unless you want the smell of vinegar in the air whenever the newly cleaned evaporative cooler is utilized. Best Regards Customer Care

Answer:	I use the kind you purchase in the sporting goods area for small camping/lunch size coolers. I pop 1 or 2 in the tank and voila! Cool air!
