Answer:	The Aprilaire model 800 is a "on/off" type unit. It is either on or off. The model 801 is a modulating humidifier, requiring a special controller, that can modulate between 10% capacity and 100% capacity depending on the requirement. The 801 is usually used in precision 'laboratory' environment.
Question:	How many hours does it operate? I just bought one and it shuts off after maybe 3 hours
Answer:	That really depends on the ducts and the injection point. If you have metal ducts with interior insulation then the chance of mold increases. If your injection point is spraying the steam against one of the duct walls, this can cause it to condense back into a liquid which can also lead to possible mold growth. Just make sure that the unit is only running while the furnace is producing heat and shuts down during the cool down cycle.
Question:	I already ordered. What kind of power supply does it use
Answer:	Since the "zones" are separated by a floor, I'd think you would need two units. (but I'm not a pro) If $$$ is an issue in buying two units, then I'd suggest not getting a steam type such as the 800. (And CERTAINLY not the troublesome Honeywell steam unit) I'd go with the Aprilaire 700 (or 600) which is much cheaper and much cheaper to operate. (one for each floor) The Aprilaire steam unit (800) uses over 13 amps of power to boil the water. That's a lot--and depending on where you live, it will run a lot. Also, the 800 requires changing the canister about once a year. (or possibly more) You can find the canisters online for around $60 to $120. The model 700 or 600 uses water panels that are roughly $12 each--and also an estimated year lifespan.

Answer:	This uses way more then 65 watts I bought this air cooler for off grid set up which has 5 400 watt batteries= 2000 watts. The batteries will stay in 80-90% charge until the sun goes down then this supposedly 65 watt air cooler will drag the batteries down to 50% after running for just one hour without the sun. These are newer batteries there is no way this is 65 watts.

Answer:	It's a down draft, so its 4 sided plus the top. The bottom is open and the corner of one side is laced like shoes, only with too few holes- like 4 or 5 total.

Answer:	Mine has a power cord, but no plug, so I use my phone charger's plug. If there is no cord contact seller for replacement

Answer:	I accidentally splashed a little water when I was filling it. I unplugged it, dumped the water out and left it sitting upside down with the lid open for a couple hours till it was dry. It worked fine afterward.
