Question:	Are the hoses in the water and ice compartment suppose to have holes in them
Answer:	The ribbed hose on mine came with a hole in it also, strange. i had to make sure the water level is above the hole other wise the water pump beeps and then stopped.

Answer:	Yes, It can be work as a fan, if you don't select "COOL" option. But sound noise is louder compare to a plain fan. In the COOL position is stay the same noise as fan.
Question:	How many hours does the "cool air" blow (i.e. how long does the ice pack/water last)? Will it last a full 8 hours
Answer:	When filled, the water in the tank can last 8 hours (I've had it last longer somehow), but the ice pack will only last maybe 2 hours in warm water. So you will get 2 hours of cold water (extra cold air) and 6 hours of room temp water (cool air).

Answer:	I wear an 8 shoe. I bought a medium slipper. There seems to be room for a sock, but I never tried it. Just a note: I find my slipper seems to slide forward (while wearing no sock), so excess slipper is behind my heal all the time. Not sure why it does that

Answer:	They are comfortable but I would not think they would work to wear outside in the winter. If it was dry outside they might work.
