Answer:	The base for the 37"-65" model is 16.5" wide and 11" deep. I purchased this for my 50" Samsung and it's great, very sturdy for my tv. In my opinion, I would not put a 65" tv on this stand; they make a 37"-70" model with a 23" wide base which would provide a much more stable environment for a 65"-70" tv. Hope this helps...

Answer:	Looks like it would . I have a 50" on it with a few inches to spare on either side. The diagram shows the length of the shelf is 55.1" and can hold a TV up to 70" or so. That's if you want a TV to be longer than the shelf, which I personally wouldn't want. 55" would be about exactly the width of this stand.
