As to quality, ours came in two boxes, one each for the mantel and the heater, and both were in great condition. We assembled it without instructions, although we found those later in the bottom of the box. It isn't solid wood, but it's decently made, and is a nice-looking solution to heat a good-sized room. Answer:	First I should say I did not assemble mine myself. I had someone who is mechanically inclined do it for me. I own two of these type units and I found that the last one you were inquiring about was probably more straightforward of the two. The item comes shipped in two parts, the wooden frame and the electric heater. The individual pieces to be assembled are all numbered. The instructions have to be followed exactly to make things fit properly. It took the expert an hour to an hour and a half to assemble the unit. I would say if your son is not mechanically inclined that it's going to be a bit of an effort for him to assemble it. However if you follow the instructions exactly he should be able to accomplish it. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I had the same question and no one answered it really in the posted Q&A’s. I ordered the metal one and it is pictured in my wall unit. It has a flat, matte black metal trim around the outside with nice rounded edges and corners. Not sure what the glass one would be?
Question:	What’s the square footage it heats
Answer:	I have the 40” unit, but it might be the same. If the unit is mounted and you are looking at it, it’s on the right hand side. It isn’t on the underside. The cable is long enough to bring under the unit and then plug in if you aren’t mounting it too high. I mounted it at 5’ from the floor.
