Answer:	From the top of the chair to the end of the foot rest when reclined is only 64".Someone that is 6'2" would likely have an issue with their legs hanging off the end of the recliner.

Answer:	It is manual so you need to push the legrest down. I normally do it with my legs which means doesnt require that much strength. The back retract by itself to its original position but at the same time is soft enough to stay at any angle you seat on it without having to push it with your own body.Hope it helps
