Answer:	I haven't had it for a year yet but have left it in a drawer for several months and took it our recently and it was still charged. Something has happend to manufacturing in the last few years where reliability, construction and quality control have taken a serious hit. 1. Cap on lighter will break! Or tab will wear out and will no longer close. 2 hit or miss if lighter will even work I returned 4 in a row for faulty ignition or some overlying problem.
